Creating enigma? • Not showing the full scenes.
• Showing her open the door, but not showing what happens at the end.
• Leaving the audience to think why is she admitting that she has killed them
• Where do the men go, you see them go in but not coming out.
• The narration is creating enigma, because at the end the narration is of the start of the poem Salome. It gets the audience to think.

Narrative
1st – Her with the detective present
2nd – Flashback of her with the men past
linear
Luara&Kauana
3rd – it goes back to her and the detective, at the same time.
Although the contents of the story is nonlinear (flashback) . The telling of the story is linear, from scene to scene.
![Page 32: Assignement9finished [autosaved]](https://reader036.fdocuments.net/reader036/viewer/2022062514/5591811e1a28abfe528b462d/html5/thumbnails/32.jpg)
Film Theory?
• We are using the theory of Vladimir Propp who came up with stereotyped characters•
Valetina(main girl) : will be the typical villain
The men( one of the men) :will be the typical victim
Mr Smith (investigator) :typical victim/helper.Luara&Kauana
![Page 33: Assignement9finished [autosaved]](https://reader036.fdocuments.net/reader036/viewer/2022062514/5591811e1a28abfe528b462d/html5/thumbnails/33.jpg)
• We are using the theory of Tvzetan Todorov , who came up with the theory of the narrative structure.
Equilibrium she is killing all the men , and no one has found out.
Disequilibrium the investigator finds out everything she had done, and becomes a threat to her . She also kills the investigator.
New equilibrium there is no consequences to her acts.
Film Theory?
![Page 34: Assignement9finished [autosaved]](https://reader036.fdocuments.net/reader036/viewer/2022062514/5591811e1a28abfe528b462d/html5/thumbnails/34.jpg)
• We are using the Claude Levi-Strauss theory of the narrative conflict
• 1.Femme fatale ( villain ) vs. Victim
• 2.Past vs. future – flashback , and what she will do to the investigator.

Target Audience Questionnaire• Do you think film noir is suitable for this generation? No, because this generation is more used to modern movies and style of life. • Are you interested in movies in which tragedy and evilness occurs? Yes, because it makes it more realistic as we have tragedy and evil in our world
today.• Do you agree that murder should be involved in our story? Yes as murder is an essential thing for film noir movies.• Are the characters representation suitable for the story? Yes they are because they are the typical characters used in film noir, the woman
