Assessment 2 is a written task involving the completion of 31 questions and involves the main scenario - ABC Steel (on page 5/6)

This assessment is about participating in the management, coordination, design and maintenance of a systematic approach to managing WHS/OHS Information and data systems and development of participative arrangements.

It involves the design and presentation of a staff survey to identify stakeholder’s consultative needs, completion of a safety action plan for areas in need of attention as well as completing a consultation policy. Scenario – Additional information

ABC Steel has asked you to give them an overview of their current work health and safety consultation and information management status.

You will first have to review the effectiveness of current consultation processes, establish the desired forms of consultation at ABC Steel and then redesign the consultation policy.

You will then have to explain the requirements of a suitable WHSMS/OHSMS and information management system for the company including document control strategies.
