2. General view of the work hole

Before beginning the assembly of the guillotine doors, it is advisable to verify that the measurements of the work hole coincide with the measurements specified in the order, as well as the lateral spaces and the lintel.

3. supply conditions

Guillotine doors are supplied palletized in kit. In special cases the sheet can be supplied armed as long as the dimensions allow it. In this case, the specifica-tions of point 5 of this assembly manual will not be made. Generally the fittings are supplied in a metal box. Extreme care must be taken in the handling of the materials during the descraga to avoid hitting or damaging the merchandise.

4. Guides placement

The guides can be supplied whole (if the length allows) or split into two parts. The pulley set is factory wel-ded at the upper end of the guides and can not be modified on site. (In case of anomalous conditions in work consult with the technical department).

Installation

The guides are manufactured to be installed in the vertical edges of the work light hole, so it is very impor-tant to verify that the manufacturing meets the requirements of the order. Place the first lateral guide checking that it is well plumb, make the corresponding holes and screw it.

The upper wall fire cut will make us a gauge for the placement of the second guide that will remain in the vertical edge of the work light hole. The same end will rest on the lateral sinter tubes of the guide (tubes with intumescent gasket).

5. assembly of the sheet

Set 2 regles for the sandwich pannels presentation.

* Regles are not supplied by the manufacturer.

Join the panels by tongue and groove. The panel with en-caste for the nails should be placed in the center. n encas-te for the nails should be placed in the center.

U perimetral frame presentation and collocation

Once the 4 perimeter profiles have been adjusted, check the diagonals. If D = d, the corners should be pun-ched by welding to prevent the profiles from moving.

Once the corners are fixed, check that the frame does not curve, screw and finish welding the corners. Apply a string of intumescent mastic in the joints of panels and join with the perimeter frame, as indicated in the drawing. (This point must be made on both sides of the sheet).

6. sheet installation (vertical position) and auctions

Once finished assembling the sheet completely, levnate and place it in vertical position between the guides leaving it centered between them. The leaf cutter can be removed from the leaf and screwed back in again.

In vertical position we will proceed to the placement of the fittings (parachutes and bearings) in sheet and guide. The sheet is provided with some records for anchoring them.

7. sheet counterweiGht

To counterbalance the guillotine we will keep it upright and we will pass the cables through the pulley chan-nels to the top weights, the cables will be marked (the shortest cable will be the one that we install on the side of the leaf closest to the topsail and the longest on the other side of it).

We will place the weights in the topsail and we will take the cables to it by the rope guards through the ca-bles (place 2 cable ties for safety). Once the cable ties have been secured, test the operation of the leaf. There is an axial accompaniment roller that allows to adjust the blade to center it between the guides. It can be adjusted with the leaf separated from the ground. In the up and down maneuvers check the operation of the guillotine balancing the weight of the blade with the weights of the topsail.

8. accesories and complement installation

Through the screw we will adjust the axial roller. in this way we will get the sheet and avoid horizontal displa-cements in the opening and closing maneuvers

We will proceed to the installation of the electromagnet support and the contact rosette. With the guillotine completely open place the rosette in the upper central part of the same and place the electromagnet with its support anchored to the wall, taking into account the contact between them.

Proceed with the placement of the handles in the existing holes in the central panel (this step can be done during the packing of the sheet).

The speed regulator is provided with a screw that regulates the hydraulic pressure of the same to be able to regulate it.

The speed regulator will be placed on the leaf by its support. The cable and its supports will be installed in the guide, opposite side to the counterweight side

Weld the tube 20x20 to the guideto screw the cover box.
