Keep the appliance area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids.Solid fuels should not be burned in this gasappliance.Inspect the hose before each use of the appliance. The hose assembly must be replaced prior to the appliance being put into operation if there is evidence of excessive abrasion, wear, or if the hose is damaged. The replacement hose assemblyis specified in this manual. The burner must be inspected before each use. The burner should always be cleaned:Disconnect it from the appliance, use a cleaner to remove blockages attached on the ports, and drain the blockages from the gas inlet. A high pressured stream of water may also be used.

Do not use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect the appliance and to replace any part of the control system and any gas control that has been under water. This appliance is for outdoor use only in a well-ventilated space and should not be used in a building, garage, or any other enclosed area. Other cylinders may be acceptable for use with the appliance provided that they are compatible with the appliance retention means and accompanied byillustration(s) depicting the cylinder mounted to the appliance utilizing the cylinder retention means andthe point of contact between the cylinder and the retention means. The cylinder should be 12 inchesin diameter and 18 inches high. The capacity is 20lbs of propane.

If the appliance is not in use, the gas must be turned off at the supply cylinder. Storage of an appliance indoors is permissible only if the cylinder is disconnected and removed from the appliance. Cylinders must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area and out of children’s reach. Disconnected cylinders must have a dust cap secured at the end of the valve and cannot be stored in a building, garage, or any other enclosed area. The pressure regulator and hose assembly supplied with this appliance must be used. Replacement pressure regulators and hose assemblies must be the ones specified in this manual.

The cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapor withdrawal. The cylinder used must include a collar to protect the cylinder valve.

The Procedure for Checking for Gas Leaks:Never test for leaks with a flame. Prior to first use, at the beginning of each season, or every time your LP gas tank is changed, you must check for gas leaks.Follow these three steps:1. Make a soap solution by mixing one part liquid detergent and one part water.2. Make sure that the burner is off and then turn the gas on at source. 3. Apply the soap solution to all gas connections, especially to the inlet/manifold pressure tap on the gas valve after reading the pressure. Bubbles will appear in the soap solution if the gas connections are not properly sealed. If you have a gas leak, tighten gas connections, turn off the gas at the source, disconnect the fuel line from your appliance, and call 1-877-539-7436 for repair assistance.

The LP-gas supply cylinder to be used must be:1. Constructed and marked in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) Specifications for LP-Gas Cylinders, or the Standard for Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes for Transportation of Dangerous Goods; and Commission, CAN/CSA-B339 as applicable;2. Provided with a listed overfilling prevention device;3. Provided with a cylinder connection device compatible with the connection for the appliance.

Locate the gas hose and make sure that it is not in any pathways where people may trip over it or in any areas where the hose may be subject to accidental damage.

When an appliance is for connection to a fixed piping system, the installation must conform withlocal codes or, in the absence of local codes, withthe National Fuel Gas Code, ANSIZ223.1 NFPA 54; National Fuel Gas Code; Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1; or Propane Storage and Handling Code, CSA B149.2, as applicable.

Before assembly, open all of the packaged cartons. Lay out all of the parts on a level, non-abrasive surface. Open the hardware kit for all of the nuts, bolts, and washers. Make sure that you have all of the parts listed. If any parts are missing or damaged, call the help line at 1-877-539-7436 before returning this item to the store.

Attention: Make sure that each bolt needed for all steps matchesthe corresponding figure to ensure proper assembly.

Step 1: Fasten the frame 2 (#2) and the frame 1 (#3) to the rear frame (#1) by using bolts (#11). Keep the bolts loose. See Figure 1.

Note: Parts come in more than one carton.

Note: The labels marked “2” and “3” on the frames should coincide with Figure 1 to ensure proper assembly.

Step 2: Fasten the bottom frame (#4) and the cross brace (#15) to frames (#2 and #3) by using bolts (#10) and screws (#16). See Figure 2.

Step 4: Insert the upper connectors (#8) into the holes in the front door (#5). Fasten the upper connector (#8) to the frame 1 (#3) by using bolt (#11). See Figure 4.

Step 3: Fasten the lower connector (#7) to the corner of the bottom rim of the frame 1 (#3) by using bolt (#11). Then, insert the front door (#5) into the connector tab on the lower connector (#7). See Figure 3.Note: The lower connector (#7) is marked with an “E”.

Note: 1) Close the front door to ensure proper assembly. See Illustration A.2) When moving the appliance, make sure that the front door is closed.3) Pull and slide the fastener out when you open the door.

Step 5: Place the table top (#6) onto the frame assembly. Fasten them together by using bolts (#11). Make sure that all of the bolts have been tightened completely. See Figure 5.Note: The igniter valve should be facing towards the front left side of the appliance.

Fire Shield

As Illustrated:Remove the glass from the three holes on the fire shield as illustrated. These holes must be exposed completely to ensure that there is adequate airflow after ignition.

Step 6: Open the front door (#5) and place the tank into the bottom frame (#4). Secure in place by using the plastic screw. See Figure 6. Note:Secure the tank in place by turning the plastic screw clockwise as illustrated above.

Step 7: Attach the fuel supply hose (#6) to the tank by rotating clockwise to its connector. See Figure 7.

Note:In order to protect the burner system, when the fire is not in use and on rainy days, the cover should be used.

SPECIFIC WARNINGS:1) Both children and adults should be aware of the hazards of high surface temperatures and should keep their distance in order to avoid burns and ignition of clothing. 2) Children should be under adult supervision when in the vicinity of this appliance. 3) Clothing or any other flammable materials should not be hung from or near this appliance. 4) Any guard or protective device removed for servicing the appliance must be replaced prior to use. 5) Installation and repair should be done by a qualified person. The appliance should be inspected before use and at least annually by a qualified service technician. Frequent cleaning may be required. It is imperative that the control compartment, burners, and circulating air passageways of the appliance be kept clean at all times.

Read the following switch usage instructions for lighting and to extinguish:

CARE AND MAINTENANCE: 1. Do not use aerosol polish or any other flammable material to clean the burner while it is in use. 2. Inspect and clean the burner regularly. Use a wire-bristle brush to clean the burner surface. A straightened paper clip is useful to remove debris or rust from the small burner ports.3. Wash frame parts with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not use bleach, acid, or any other solvents on the frame parts. 4. Inspect and tighten all of the bolts and fasteners on a regular basis to ensure the proper performance and safety of your appliance.5. When not in use, we recommend that it be stored in a dry and secure area. Always disconnect the LP gas tank first and store it safely outside. 6. The minimum clearance from the sides, rear, and top of unit to adjacent combustible construction: 2' (61 cm) from the sides, 2' (61 cm) from the rear, and 5' (152.5 cm) from the top.7. Improper lighting operations will cause serious injury and explosion.

Switch Usage Instruction

Step 1: LightingOpen the igniter button and install an AAA battery (not included), then secure the cap back on. Before use, make sure that the control knob is in the “OFF” position. Turn the LP cylinder gas valve to fully openposition. Press down on the control knob and turn counter clockwise to the "LOW" position. Push in the gas control knob all the way and hold. Continue to press the ignition button for 15 seconds.

Step 2: Adjusting and Shutting DownIf the burner is not lit, press down the control knob and turn clockwise to the "OFF" position. Repeat step 1 after 5 minutes. When the burner is lit, press down the control knob and turn it to the desired heat output position between “LOW” and “HI”. Press down and turn the control knob clockwise to the "OFF"position to shut down the appliance. Turn off the cylinder gas valve.

Note: To extinguish the flame, push the control knob in and rotate clockwise.

Very hot while in operation!Never lean over the appliance while it is in use. Do not touch the stone or the spark guard while the appliance is in operation. Wait until the appliance has cooled down after use. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in serious bodily injury.

Use of your appliance causes carbon residue to build up on the glass inhibiting the airflow and leading to a more yellow flame. Stir up the glass regularly to remove these deposits and to maintain a blue flame.

Instructions for lighting and shutting down the appliance:1. Read instructions before lighting.2. Press down the control knob to " LOW ", at the same time push in the ignition button and keep the button depressing for 15 seconds.3. If the burner is not lit, press down the control knob and turn clockwise to the "OFF" position. Repeat from step 2 after 5 minutes.4. Adjust flame to desired height with the control knob.

LP gas tanks not connected for use must NOT be stored inside of the appliance or in the vicinity of this or any other gas appliance.6. Do not subject the LP gas tank to excessive heat. Antes de armar el equipo, abra todas las cajas. Coloque todas las partes en una superficie plana y no abrasiva. Abra el kit de accesorios para tener acceso a todas las tuercas, los tornillos y las rondanas. Asegúrese de que tenga todas las partes que se detallan en la lista. Si alguna pieza falta o está dañada, llame a la línea de ayuda al 1-877-539-7436 antes de devolver el producto a la tienda.

Atención:Asegúrese de que cada uno de los tornillos necesarios para todos los pasos coincida con la figura correspondiente para que el ensamblado sea correcto. Paso 1: Sujete el marco 2 (#2) y el marco 1 (#3) al marco trasero (#1) con ayuda de los tornillos (#11). Deje los tornillos flojos. Consulte la figura 1.

Nota: Las partes vienen empacadas en más de una caja.

Nota: Las etiquetas marcadas como “2” y “3” en los marcos deben coincidir con la figura 1 para que el ensamblado sea correcto.

Paso 2: Sujete el marco inferior (#4) y el refuerzo transversal (#15) a los marcos (#2 y #3) con ayuda de los tornillos (#10 y #16). Consulte la figura 2.

Paso 4: Inserte los conectores superiores (#8) en los orificios de la puerta frontal (#5). Sujete el conector superior (#8) al marco 1 (#3) con ayuda de un tornillo (#11). Consulte la figura 4.

Paso 3: Sujete el conector inferior (#7) a la esquina del borde inferior del marco 1 (#3) con ayuda de un tornillo (#11). Luego, inserte la puerta frontal (#5) en la lengüeta del conector inferior (#7). Consulte la figura 3. Nota: El conector inferior (#7) está marcado con una “E”.

Nota: 1) Cierre la puerta frontal para verificar que esté debidamente armada. Consulte la ilustración A.2) Cuando mueva el equipo, asegúrese de que la puerta frontal esté cerrada. 3) Jale y deslice el pasador hacia afuera cuando abra la puerta.

Guardafuego

Como se muestra en la ilustración:Quite las piezas de vidrio que estén obstruyendo los tres orificios del guardafuego, como se muestra en la ilustración. Estos orificios deben estar completamente despejados para que el flujo de aire entrante sea adecuado una vez que se encienda el fuego.

Paso 6: Abra la puerta frontal (#5) y coloque el tanque en el marco inferior (#4). Fíjelo con ayuda del tornillo de plástico. Consulte la figura 6. Nota: Fije el tanque en su lugar girando el tornillo de plástico en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj, como se ilustra arriba.

Paso 7: Conecte la manguera de suministro de combustible (#6) al tanque girando en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj para que entre en la conexión. Consulte la figura 7.

Paso 9: Coloque la tapa (#9) sobre la cubierta de la mesa (#6) para cubrir el vidrio. Consulte la figura 9.

Nota: Para proteger el sistema de la hornilla, coloque la tapa cuando el fuego no esté encendido y en los días lluviosos.

Nota: El vidrio no debe quedar expuesto por encima de la tapa de acero.

ADVERTENCIAS ESPECÍFICAS: 1) Tanto niños como adultos deberán estar conscientes de los peligros de las altas temperaturas de las superficies y deberán guardar su distancia para evitar quemaduras y que su ropa prenda fuego.2) Los niños deberán estar bajo la supervisión de un adulto siempre que estén cerca de este equipo. 3) No cuelgue ropa ni ningún material inflamable del equipo ni cerca de él.4) Todas las barreras o dispositivos de protección que se quiten para darle servicio al equipo deberán volver a colocarse en su sitio antes de usarlo. 5) La instalación y reparación deberán ser realizadas por personal calificado. El equipo deberá ser inspeccionado antes de usarlo y al menos una vez al año por un técnico de servicio calificado. Es posible que el equipo requiera de limpieza frecuente. Es muy importante que el compartimiento de control, las hornillas y los pasos del aire circulante del equipo siempre estén limpios.

Lea las siguientes instrucciones del interruptor para encenderlo y apagarlo:

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO:1. No use limpiador en aerosol ni ningún otro material inflamable para limpiar la hornilla mientras esté en uso. 2. Revise y limpie la hornilla periódicamente. Use un cepillo de cerdas de alambre para limpiar la superficie de la hornilla. Los clips desdoblados son útiles para quitar desechos o herrumbre de los puertos pequeños de la hornilla. 3. Lave el marco con agua y jabón suave, enjuáguelo muy bien y déjelo secar completamente. No le aplique blanqueadores, ácidos ni ningún otro solvente al marco. 4. Revise y apriete todos los tornillos y medios de fijación periódicamente para garantizar el funcionamiento adecuado y la seguridad de su equipo.5. Cuando no esté en uso, se recomienda guardar su equipo en un lugar seco y seguro. Siempre desconecte primero el tanque de gas LP y guárdelo en un lugar seguro afuera.6. La distancia mínima que debe haber entre los costados y las partes trasera y superior de la unidad y una construcción combustible adyacente es de: 2’ (61 cm) en los costados, 2’ (61 cm) en la parte trasera y 5’ (152.5 cm) en la parte superior.7. Encender el equipo de manera incorrecta puede ocasionar lesiones graves y explosiones.

Instrucciones para uso del interruptor

Paso 1: EncendidoAbra el botón de encendido e instale una batería AAA (no incluida). Vuelva a colocar la tapa. Antes de usarlo, asegúrese de que la perilla de control esté en la posición de “OFF”. Gire la válvula del cilindro de gas LP hasta abrirla completamente. Presione la perilla de control y gírela en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj, hasta colocarla en la posición de “LOW”. Presione la perilla de control del gas hasta en fondo y manténgala en esa posición. Siga presionando el botón de encendido durante 15 segundos.

Paso 2: Ajuste y apagadoSi la hornilla no está encendida, presione la perilla de control y gírela en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta llegar a la posición de “OFF”. Espere 5 minutos y repita el paso 1. Cuando la hornilla esté encendida, presione la perilla de control y gírela hasta logar la temperatura deseada entre las posiciones de “LOW” y “HI”. Presione y gire la perilla de control en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta llegar a la posición de “OFF” para apagar el equipo. Cierre la válvula del cilindro de gas.

Nota: Para apagar la flama, presione la perilla de control y gire en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj.

¡El equipo se calienta mucho cuando está en funcionamiento!Nunca se recargue en el equipo cuando esté funcionando. No toque la piedra ni la pantalla antichispas cuando el equipo esté encendido. Espere a que se enfríe después de apagarlo.Si no cumple con estas instrucciones, podría sufrir heridas graves.

ADVERTENCIA!

El uso de su equipo genera residuos de carbono que se acumulan en las piezas de vidrio e impiden el flujo de aire, lo cual hace que la flama se vea más amarilla. Revuelva el vidrio regularmente para eliminar estos depósitos y que la flama conserve su color azul.

Nunca llene el tanque de gas a más del 80 por ciento de su capacidad. Pídale a su proveedor de gas propano que revise la válvula de descarga después de cada llenado para asegurarse de que no tenga ningún defecto.4. Siempre guarde los tanques de gas LP en posición vertical. No almacene ni use gasolina u otros vapores o líquidos inflamables cerca de este equipo. 5. NO almacene tanques de gas LP que no estén conectados al equipo dentro ni cerca de este ni de cualquier otro equipo que funcione con gas.6. No someta el tanque de gas LP al calor excesivo. Si la manguera está dañada NO use el equipo. Llame al 1-877-539-7436 para pedir una manguera de repuesto autorizada. 11. Nunca permita que los niños jueguen cerca del equipo.
