Then attach worksurface to top channel brackets of base using #10 x 1” panhead screws from base hardware kit. See Figure F. Level the wall and base.
4 After unpacking the Mio worksurface, butt the back edge of the top against the wall. See Figures C and D. From base hardware, use (6) 3” L brackets spread out evenly underneath the worksurface and (24) #10 x 1” panhead screws to attach worksurface to wall. See Figure E. Note: Offset the L brackets 1/16” from the backedge of the work-surface before attaching brackets to Mio wall. This will help pull in any gaps.

6 Remove the channel from the pole, set it and all other parts aside.
Steps 6-8 are used to attach the Power Pole. If the Power Pole option was not selected, skip to step 8.
7 With the Mio Unit in its desired location,
locate the power pole in the ceiling using
a plum bob or laser level. Mark the loca-
tion on the ceiling using the pole as a tem-
plate for the cut out. See figure G to right
Note: Varying ceiling materials will re-
quire various cutting processes and/or
tools. Consult with an Architect and/or
licensed contractor prior to making the
cut.
Note #2: It may be necessary to cut pole
to shorter Length.
8 Slide pole over protruding metal flanges to connect pole to the top
of the Mio Wall. It may be necessary to squeeze the flanges together
to create a press fit with the pole. See figure H below. Above the
ceiling tile, place the top ceiling plate over the power pole and align
the top and bottom plates. Fasten together using two (2) #8 x 1 1/2”
PanHead Phillips screws. See figure I below.

To secure rails, use 3/16” drill bit through wall face to pre-bore holes for (4) M8 x 70 hex head lag screws and square spacers that come with TV Mount. Lag screws must be installed between 3” to 16” away from edge of wall. Then follow AVTEQ instruction sheet to complete TV mount installation. Note: Most TV mount hardware will be discarded.

10 For Dual TV Mount: Attach horizontal AVTEQ TV mount rails to wall using (3) 5/16”-18 x 1” panhead screws. See figure K for correct ori-entation. To secure rails, use 3/16” drill bit through wall face to pre-bore holes for (8) M8 x 70 hex head lag screws and square spacers that come with TV Mount. Use lag screws into columns 1 and 10 from the right and columns 2 and 11 from the left, shown in figure G below. Then follow AVTEQ instruction sheet to complete TV mount installation.
