Sub: Instruction for filling up the Examination Application Form & Statements of

Learners for the Higher Secondary Level Examination, A- Block, 2019

Sir/ Madam,

With reference to the subject cited above, I am to inform you that shouldering the

responsibility of providing H S Level education to the drop out, unsuccessful, deprived category of

learners, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has conducted the H S Level Examination

from October, 2010. The Council is thankful to you for your active cooperation in conducting the

examinations in a smooth way. Now, as per schedule the Council is going to conduct the H.S. Level

Examination, A - Block, 2019 in the month of May, 2019 [Dates of conducting the examination will

be notified shortly]. In this examination, the admitted but left out learners up to 2017-2018 [2nd

Block]

batches and the unsuccessful learners of the already conducted H.S. Level Examinations may appear.

Along with the said learners, the passed out / appeared learners of ASOS may also appear for

Improvement of Performance.

For this purpose, you are requested to download the Examination Forms [to be filled up

by the learners] & Statement [to be filled up by the ASCs] which are to be submitted to the SOS Cell

of the Council from the website www.ahsec.nic.in and start the process of Form Fill up. The last date

of submission of Examination Form with all statements is 30.03.2019 [No excuse for Postal Delay

will be entertained for the forms received after 30th

March, 2019].

Kindly maintain utmost care in filling up of the Examination Forms and Statements

[Considering both the types of Examination forms] so that data’s may be inserted in correct form in

the Tabulation Register. Incomplete Examination Form will be summarily rejected. The Principal-

cum-Coordinator is requested again herewith to deposit the collected fees through RTGS / NEFT in

favour of the Secretary, Open Schooling, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.

NOTE TO REMEMBER The Application Forms will not be accepted after the last date of submission of form.The

learners are requested to contact their respective ASC for information regarding theirExamination Centres. If a learner appears from an Examination Centre other than the oneallotted to him/her,the result of the learner will be kept withheld and the examination will becancelled.The examination centre will be finalised as per quantum of learners to beappeared in the centre.

If any passed out learners of ASOS applied under Improvement of Performance Scheme,they may appear only ONCE for improvement within the validity period of 5[five]years. They have topay the fee as applying for the first examination after taking permission. For the learner takingadmission under Improvement of Performance , they may appear for improvement during theduration of 5 [five] years.

For subjects involving practical, candidates have to appear in both theory and practical forimprovement in the performance. Better of the two results would be considered and indicated inthe marks-sheet .

But if any unsuccessful candidate will appear in the subject(s) already appeared, his/her mark oflater sitting will be counted as considered the matter as Re-appear.

Learners appeared under the scheme of Part - Admission / Improvement may appear upto 4[Four]subjects.

In both the cases only the Marks -sheet will be issued.NOTE i) Examination Form with incomplete/wrong information shall be rejected.ii) Strike off whichever is not applicable.
