Joint Patient Assessment and Tracking System

(JPATS)

JPATS is a Web Application that is part of the National Disaster

Medical System (NDMS), Disaster Medical Information Suite

(DMIS). It has been designed the track the movement of every

patient from the point of registration to discharge during a federal

government response.


JPATS 2.0 JPATS 2.0 is a total redesign of the web-based application. The new look and feel is supported by newer technologies that were used to develop JPATS core functionality for patient movement. Core components include:

• User Registration

• Patient Registration

• Patient Update/Details

• Import/Export

• Patient Manifests

• Dashboard

• Reports

• Systems Settings

• Online Help


NDMS 2.0 - User Registration

As part of the NDMS 2.0 Single Sign-on

initiative, users will self-register for

access. ➢ The URL for the NDMS 2.0 Training

Environment is

➢ Click Register link

➢ Enter Name

➢ Enter an email address (User id)

➢ Enter a password

➢ Confirm password

➢ Click submit

After the request is submitted, Contact the

NDMS Helpdesk for access NDMS 2.0.

After receiving confirmation

that your account has been

created, ➢ Enter their User id/pw

➢ Click Login

➢ Click Submit for code

➢ Check Email for code

➢ Enter code

➢ Click submit

The Medical History section keeps a log of changes that are made to a patient’s bed

type, patient type, health status, injury description and notes.

The Location History section displays a patient’s location, disposition status, date

and time.

The Patient Notes section displays an audit log of messages, date/time stamp, and

the username of the person who entered the notes.

Airhead Code (if applicable), select Transport Type, FCC, Destination

Location, Enter a note (free text). Click Save.

After Manifest Details are dispositioned/set to Awaiting Transportation or En-

route, the Patients transports requirements auto updates the Patient’s Details.

To navigate back to the Manifest, click on the Manifest icon.
