Objectives

To provide an experiential outdoor adventure/education cum and overseas cultural experience to:

1) Promote class bonding and teamwork

2) Inculcate character and school values with focus on the level value of resilience

3) Develop socio-emotional competencies of self-awareness and relationship management

4) Provide opportunities for student leadership development

5) Provide an avenue for ruggedness, appreciation for nature and cultural exchange

VISA Application for Foreign Students 1) Submit Passport with at least 6 months validity a. Passport shall not expire before 13 September 2015) 2) A Recent Passport Size Colour Photograph. a. ♣ Longs Pants / T Shirt / Long Sleeve tops for night use

♣ Toiletries and Towel (Sun Block , Moisturising Creams)

♣ Sleeping bags (18-25 degrees)

♣ Trekking Shoes (2 pairs – *Water Activities and Dry )

♣ Socks (1 pair Long , 2 pairs above ankle )

♣ Touch light / Head light – with Spare Batteries

♣ Poncho / Raincoat / Windbreaker

♣ Water Bottle – Recommended 1.5 litres

♣ Cap / Hat – Optional

♣ Plastic Bags or Zip Lock Bags – (Dirty and Wet Clothes)

♣ Insect Repellent – Non Perfumed

♣ Personal Medication – Prescribed only

♣ Notebook and pen for notes taking – Learning Journey

♣ Small Day Pack or Haversack for hands free climbing

Food & Water

All meals provided at the camp is Halal. Vegetarian food is served separately. After Meal please clear all food scraps into the bins provided and return all eating utensils into the respective containers which are provided. Do not purchase any food outside the campsite . DRINK ONLY DRINKING WATER PROVIDED Fresh drinking water is provided 24 hours from the water tank in the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) Filtered clean water from taps and showers are for external use only ( Shower , washing etc.)

Medical Situation

☺Should a student fall sick (Fever, flu or Any injuries) and needs medical attention, the 24hr standby vehicle will be used to bring the student to the clinic which is 15 minutes away or the hospital which is 40 minutes away

☺First-aid trained instructors are present to tend to minor casualties such as cuts or bruises.

☺Each student should be well-informed as to his/her medical condition and should have their personal medication with them at all times.

☺At any time the if a student feels unwell He or She should report to the teacher in charge as earlier as possible. Report any injury to an instructor or teacher
