Wrist grounding strap and conductive mat for preventing electrostatic discharge

Plastic tweezersOTE: The screws for the different components vary in size. During the disassembly process, group the

screws with the corresponding components to avoid mismatch when putting back the components.

-disassembly Instructionsefore proceeding with the disassembly procedure, make sure that you do the following:

. Turn off the power to the system and all peripherals.

. Unplug the AC adapter and all power and signal cables from the system.

. Place the system on a flat, stable surface.

. Remove the battery pack.

For example, if you want to remove the main oard, you must first remove the keyboard, then disassemble the inside assembly frame in that order.

Removing the Battery Pack1. Turn base unit over.

. Slide the battery lock/unlock latch to the unlock position.

. Slide the battery release latch to the release position to pop out the battery pack, then remove the battery pack from the main unit.

Note: Battery has been highlighted with the yellow circle as above image shows. Please detach the attery and follow the local regulations for disposal.

Removing the SD Dummy Card1. Push the SD dummy card all the way in to eject it.

. Lift the hard disk drive module and remove it from the hard disk drive bay.

OTE: To prevent damage to device, avoid pressing down on it or placing heavy objects on top of it.

1. Release the latch and disconnect the the touchpad cable from its connector the touchpad board.

2. Pry to loosen the touchpad board and detach it from the upper case.

ARNING: The touchpad board is glued to the upper case, only remove the touchpad board if it is defective.

Note: Circuit board >10 cm has been highlighted with the yellow rectangle as above image shows. lease detach the Circuit boards and follow local regulations for disposal.
