There has been a few attempts to boost on-line art markets but none was quite successful. Although etsy.com(In 2011 total sales of 320 billion won) and fireart have appeared theirmarket share is still negligible given that mid to low-end art markets size is about 100 trillion won. Add to that there still hasnt been any easy to access SNS-based application for artists/customers.
Weenu will offer better marketing opportunity for artists
by a free artwork registration policy with minimized transaction fee(5% which is only one tenth of other existing services)and better shopping experience for customersby establishing direct contact between artist and customer.Weenus web/mobile based platform is a brand new marketplaceboth benefits artist and customer.
