ASHRAMS The term Ashram is defined in Sanskrit as a

hermitage or retreat where a person goes to meet

himself. Going to an ashram for

this purpose is a very important step in our

evolution. As we strive toward spirit, toward light,

and toward the achievement of our inner

self, we must begin to detach ourselves.
