Sponsored by Ashland Parks & Recreation 8:30am-4:30pm Free shuttle bus service (Courtesy of the Ashland Chamber of Commerce) One route: from Tolman Creek Plaza Albertson’s Bus Stop to Downtown Bus Stop (on Lithia Way between 1st and 2nd Streets) every 30 minutes - last pickup from Downtown is 4:00pm 9am Early Bird viewing of Lithia Park Booths 10am 4th of July Parade begins at Triangle Park, proceeding down Siskiyou Boulevard to East Main, finishing down Water Street 10am-4pm Native Plant Society of Oregon, Siskiyou Chapter, Irene Hollenbeck Memorial Wildflower Show, Community Center, 59 Winburn Way (across from Lithia Park) 10am-5pm Booth and Craft Fair in Lithia Park – Enjoy Information Booths, Food Booths, the Family Activity Zone, artisan Craft Booths and visit with local businesses. Please see the Lithia Park Map for Booth locations. Listen to “The College Fund Street Band,” a children’s group who will be performing throughout the afternoon in the Family Activity Zone. This will be a free concert sponsored by the JSCC. 8pm 29th annual American Band College Star Spangled Spectacular - “Ashland Pops Show” - Enjoy the 200-plus members of the American Band College Master’s Degree Program at the Ashland High School Stadium on July 4th. Co-sponsored by the Ashland Chamber of Commerce, the American Band College is donating $5 per ticket to assist in fundraising for the annual public fireworks show. Featured guest artist will be Grammy award-winning trumpet player, Doc Severinsen. He will perform with and conduct the 200-piece band and will also appear with ABC’s famed guest ensemble, Mariachi Sol de Mexico. This 13-member, Grammy award-winning, group will perform alone and will also appear as the featured ensemble with the 200 ABC musicians in full band arrangements. Tickets: Cripple Creek Music in Ashland, ABC’s website www.bandworld.org and at the Ashland High School Stadium beginning at 6:30pm. 10pm Public Fireworks Display presented by Ashland Chamber of Commerce from the SOU Athletic Field.
