Reminder – We will have no weekly meetings on Dec. 22 or Dec. 29 th Please have a safe and happy Holiday to you and your families! Today’s Program: President John Sheets will be presenting the Howland High School Choir for our annual Christmas Music Program along with their Choir Director Mrs. DePoy. Members are encouraged to bring their spouses, family and friends to each lunch and enjoy the festivities. Please….. If you are bringing someone, please notify Dick Lytle as soon as possible so he can provide a lunch count to Shepherd of the Valley. Special thanks to the members of the choir and Mrs DePoy, for helping to put us in the spirit of the season! Last Week’s Program: Pat Kerrigan, Oakhill Makerspace Ken MacPherson presented former municipal judge Patrick Kerrigan. Pat is the Executive Director of The Oakhill Makerspace, which is the latest addition to the Oakhill Collaborative, a small- business incubator that started in October 2012. As a business incubator, the collaborative helps create and grow young businesses by providing them with financial, legal and technical services and support. Pat also gave us a little background on his interests and involvements including his work at St Patrick’s church and the development of the neighborhood. Pat also discussed his involvement with the ‘Home for Good Center’ and how it helps recently released incarcerated individuals. Thanks for the program Ken. Next Week’s Program: Once again, no meetings on Dec. 22 or Dec. 29 th . Our next meeting will be January 5, 2015 where Dr. Bob Walton has the program. Upcoming Program Schedule: Note that the program schedule will be attached. January 12 – Howland High School Interact has the program January 19 – We are currently scheduled to have a club assembly. January 26 - Ken Abell has made arrangements for another Field Trip! We will be touring the Howland Fire Station and the Howland Police Station. A sign-up sheet will be at the front desk.

From the Warren club, we had Mike Bollas. Card Drawing – Jeff LaFuria won the ticket drawing for $5.00, but he was not able to pull the joker Condolences: - To Marilyn Titus on the passing of her sister. From the Howland Rotary Club, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

    Club Notes: Board Meeting – January’s Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14th at 7:00 am at the Board of Education Office Poinsettia Sale: Poinsettia Sale is in full swing. Please help out and sell. ***Note*** – Dick Lytle will be bringing several Poinsettias to the meeting which will be for sale. Bring you checkbook and take one home! Salvation Army Bell Ringing: Has come and gone for another year. Special thanks to Bob Tucker for organizing the fund raiser as well as all those who participated.

    *** See the attached collage of the event** John Sheets Retirement Open House - There will be an Open House for retiring Superintendent John Sheets (our very own President) on Monday, December 15th at 5:30 at the Howland springs primary School. All members (and spouses) are invited to stop by and extend their best wishes to John. A flyer is attached. Spaghetti Dinner: Save the date of March 21, 2015.
