During early 2011, we established a team of project agents

in order to adapt our services to meet the ever changing

needs of the energy industry. Our project agent’s objective is

to satisfy the strategic needs of organisations whose

complex requirements transcend international and

continental borders.

Offering global coverage, our highly trained and focused

team are available to advise and assist throughout the

project lifecycle. The project agents attend planning

meetings in remote locations, onshore and offshore –

delivering expertise around the clock.

Our Technical Team deliver a wide range of expertise

We offer comprehensive provision and management of

technical, safety and auditing services and a genuine

24-hour service.

Our services can be provided on a contractual or ad-hoc

basis and, if required, by way of the provision of a dedicated

Marine Control




Established to control and coordinate the safe and efficient

movement of marine craft, our Marine Control operation is a

permanently manned service located in Aberdeen Harbour.

This service has the responsibility to provide uninterrupted

management and coordination of vessel movements whilst

in the field.

Our Marine Control department works closely with the ASCO

Operations desk to ensure appropriate movement of vessels

within the harbour area.

By virtue of our Marine Control function being a multi-user

resource, our clients enjoy the benefits of a dedicated facility

without the cost restraints of a client specific asset.


Our Marine Control services include:

• Control of vessel movement and anchoring under normal andemergency conditions

• Fulfilment of offshore requirements making best use of vesselcapabilities and deck space

• Vessel scheduling and estimated time of arrival (ETA) advice

• Detailed logging of all marine asset movements and operations

• Provision of information to aid safe navigation in respect ofweather, tides and other hazards such as anchor buoys, mooringpatterns and restriction zones

• Provision of vessel and cargo status

• Organisation of medical assistance to vessels from infield facilities

Our work-scope extends to voyage planning, dry and liquid

bulk water and fuel loadings, tank management and, should

it ever be required, the allocation of marine facilities in the

event of an emergency offshore.

Our Marine Department employ staff with a wealth of

knowledge on the sourcing, evaluation and chartering of all

types of vessels. Vessels that we charter can be placed on

an ASCO Charter Party – a robust tried and tested industry

approved document. Long term vessel and ad-hoc spot

charters can be arranged as client demand dictates.

Through our in-depth knowledge of vessel markets and

strong relationships within the marine and energy industries,
