My Name is Brady Dowling, I am from Fort Thomas, Kentucky and graduated in 2008 from Highlands High School. Ft. Thomas is a small, close community in Northern Kentucky that values hard work and success.

After graduation I attended the University of Kentucky and graduated in the Spring of 2012.

I grew up in a very hard working family. My father, an investment banker in Cincinnati, and my mother, a homemaker, taught my brother and I the value of hard work and through his hard work showed us the great financial and personal satisfaction that comes from hard work.

The value of hard work paid off greatly for me in high school when I won multiple state championships in football and earned many awards in sports. I also earned a partial scholarship at the University of Kentucky.

At UK I studied English and History and earned a 3.2 GPA

I was involved in multiple organizations including: Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society, and National College Republicans

During college I worked for the City of Covington, Kentucky in their law department.

I also worked in the Marketing department for the Lexington Legends baseball organization.

Most importantly I worked for three summers for the Ft. Thomas school district where I learned the interworkings of a school district. This is where I came to the conclusion that I wanted to pursue a career in teaching/educational administration.

While at UK I worked on many projects and papers that broadened my educational experience.

One of the more valuable experiences was a project where I shadowed teachers in Lexington and Ft. Thomas for 100 hours.

I also focused on African America Literature while at UK. This allowed me to interact with a very diverse field of students and teachers.
