THE GOD EXPERIMENT - PlotThe God Experiment is a Supernatural/Thriller movie set in the near future (2035) in The Netherlands.

People become aware of mental illness, people who are suffering from bi-polar and schizophrenia a similar experiment is being done with psychopaths and sociopaths. Both groups of people can have delusions of being and feeling God-like, or feel as if they’re connected to a higher power. Evidence points towards a connection or

‘feeling’ is more than just mental instability and possibly something related to God.

So, with this in mind, a programme is set up where they take 12 new born babies (3 boys and 3 girls for each group), who all have mental illness that could lead to delusions in relation to God themes. In this future, doctors can see if a pregnant woman is

carrying a baby with a mental problem.

From birth, these children are placed within an isolated communities with round the clock care. Religion is completely absent in every possible way from the children’s lives. The experiment is to see whether they find God when they have no actual concept of

God in their lives.

Over time, each isolated community form relationships with each other and a couple procreate. Signs of God and angels begin to appear. The baby is identified as the ‘chosen one’, a God-send.

They also mate and the woman gives birth at the same time. However, this time the child is the opposite of the other new-born child, an anti-Christ.

Why did I choose the title?

I chose the title “The God Experiment” as it is intriguing but also explanatory of the plot. It target’s many audiences.

The title could lead people to think:• What is the ‘God Experiment’.• Why’s God involved?

The topic of God is extremely relevant to today as many people are religious or have views upon religion.
