CHALLENGE TIME! Ms Mahmood has decided to recreate the
front cover of the first book we read when you guys first joined Iqra and R1! Your
challenge is to also recreate a picture of a story book; it can be the book Ms Mahmood has recreated, or it could be any book you
like! Send in pictures of your book covers to [email protected]
Assalaamualaikum R1! How are you all? It has been
great seeing you all on Zoom and hearing about all
the amazing things you’ve all been doing at home! See you
guys on Monday! Ms Mahmood + Ms Cumar
ARYAN! Aryan! Thank you so much for the
glasses you made me! I loved seeing both pairs of glasses; they looked amazing! I loved how you used lots of different materials
and bent and shaped them in specific ways to get the final outcome. Did you make the
glasses all by yourself? If so, I am so impressed, I forgot just how creative you are! I am also very excited to see your den!
ZAYAN! Wow Zayan, I loved reading about everyone and everything you are grateful for, particularly the bit
about trying to fast! How long were you able to keep your fast? Was it
tricky? Your dessert snacks look soo yummy! Did your little sister help you make them? Did you only use chocolate, or
did you add other special ingredients too? How long did it
take for you to make them?
SAFIYYAH! Firstly, a big MASHA’ALLAH for
memorising Surah Al-Kauthar! Learning verses of the Qur’an can
be tricky, but you are doing a fantastic job and the reward is immense. Well done, we’re so proud of you! Safiyyah your Ramadhan decorations are amazing! The lanterns look
fantastic; did you make them all by yourself? I love the fancy
tapes you have used to decorate your lanterns too, how creative!
RAMADHAN GOOD DEEDS!
Good deeds that you can do during Ramadhan:

with extra housework • Give salaam to as many people
as you can • Read to your younger brother
or sister
