ARTIST MISE-EN-SCENE:In this presentation I will be explaining the mise-en-scene of the artist I have chosen to appear in my music video. The post will be effective for me in many ways as it will give me more of an idea of what I need to include. This will also help me as I can keep recapitulating on how I would like things

to look and when making the video I will have some sort of guideline.

Costumes:

The lead role in my music video will be played by Jonathan, I plan for him to follow the style of the urban

sort, by this I mean branded jeans, trainers and jumper or jacket. I would also like him to be wearing varies types of

jewellery such as rings, earrings, watch and a chain. I have chosen this sort of look for Jonathan as I want him to

look like a stereotypical rapper and I want him to follow the appearance of well known artists. Jonathan won’t be wearing the same clothes throughout the music video and there may be other people featuring in it, they will also follow the general style of well known artists.

Props:The props I will use in my music video include:

• A Mercedes (other cars)• A mirror

• A fake bottle of alcohol (apple juice)• Cigarettes

• Items will be added

I have not fully decided on what props to add but the ones above are just a general idea of what I

will be including. I feel that the props I have chosen so far will benefit my music video as it will make it more realistic. These items will also ensure

that my video is entertaining and successful.

Make-up

My artist will not be wearing any make-up as I don’t want to change his looks. However I would like to use effects to turn on of his eyes completely white

like the rap artist ‘Fetty Wap’. I don’t want to do this to mock the artist, but to give Jonathan more of a dangerous look to show what he’s been through, I

think this will work well with the over all style of my music video as it will make it more realistic and should leave the audience asking questions.
