As mentioned in previous blogs, we know that Glass animals used different media platforms online to promote their music, albums and the band itself which is mostly done visually though photos and videos on their website, Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and fans also promote them on these platforms too.

Glass Animals Official site is more formal than the other sites because it doesnt have a lot of pictures, but it does have their music videos from YouTube on it and it was made purely to inform fans about upcoming shows and album releases. However the pictures there just promote their band merchandise.

In the Glass Animals official Tumblr page, there are photos and videos that are there that advertises the bands music, upcoming gigs and tours, but there are also some pictures and videos that promote the band as in a more personal level as well which shows them in a more fun and goofy light that makes them more relatable to their fans.

The Official Glass Animals Instagram Page

The bands Instagram page is set similarly to their Tumblr page where they posts photos and videos to advertise the bands new and recent music, upcoming gigs and tours, and photos and videos that promote the band in a more personal more relatable and goofy level to their fans. However, they also post fan arts too to encourage their fans to be more creative with their music.

The Official Glass Animals Facebook Page

Facebook is used like their website but less formal. However, instead of selling merchandise, they mostly promote it. They also promote their gigs and tours and also give regular up dates too on Facebook for the fans that arent on the other social sites. They sometimes posts pictures that arent really related to their music too to allow their fans to see what they are really like which could be seen as a way of promoting themselves too.

Glass Animals VEVO and official YouTube pages promote the bands music and tours and festivals that the bands do.

The Glass Animals Official Animals Twitter

Twitter is one of their popular online platforms that they use to promote the band and although it does promote the band (i.e. Their merchandise, their music etc.), they also use it to retweet fan responses. Which is use to promote to other fans to encourage fans to share their views on their music.
