Registration Summary

Step 1: Log on to the NAD website;http://nadsc.dhet.gov.za

Step 2: On the HOME PAGE go to ‘Artisan Registration’ on the menu bar and select ARPL Registration from the drop down menu

Step 3: When the RPL form is loaded, fill in all the details required, then click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button at the end of the form

The candidate details will be kept on our ARPL Database, and One of our agents will contact the registered candidate to advise of the next step in the ARPL process

Purpose of the Manual

This manual has been designed to equip the Advisor with knowledge and understanding about the Artisan Aide Recognition of Prior Learning, so that the Advisor can be able to: •Know the background of the ARPL Section and it is all about.•Have the knowledge of what is Recognition of Prior learning and what it is all about in relation to Artisan Development.•To have knowledge about Assessment and its relationship to ARPL and the ARPL candidate.•To understand the ARPL curriculum Criteria.•To understand what are ARPL toolkits and how to use them.•To have knowledge about the legislation and Policies regarding Artisan development and related information.
