All products should be properly acclimatized and carefully checked for satisfactory quality and colour match prior to installation.

Laminate surfaces are an extremely practical and hygienic solution, however please be aware that wear and tear is more visible on gloss, metalfoil and darker laminate surfaces. Additional care must be taken during handling, installation and use of these products.

Square edged laminate worksurfaces with acrylic, PVC or laminate edges are more susceptible to moisture ingress at the top and bottom of thefactory finished edges. Although the adhesive used in their manufacture is moisture resistant, it is not waterproof, so extra care must be takenwith these products and accidental spillage or standing water wiped up immediately.

Your laminate worksurfaces are designed to withstand chemicals, steam, stains from juice, tea, coffee and wine. They are also designed towithstand heat; however, hot pans and casserole dishes must be placed on a counter saver due to the intense heat generated.

When installing a gas hob, splashbacks and upstands should be a minimum distance of 130mm from the heat source of the hob.

Additional protection should be applied to the underside of Artis worksurfaces at washer, dryer or dish-washer locations and where core materialis exposed at vulnerable sink or hob cut-outs.

Artis high pressure laminates are independently tested to BS/EN438.

Core materials are manufactured in accordance with BS/EN312 high-density particleboard (tested to E1 emission standard) for strength and stability.
