For those still catching up on events at Artifex, each week

we will not only be producing our regular informer (now in

smexy pdf!) but also recolouring our smexy forum into any

colour our forum users want! To get your choice heard visit

our home page and vote in our poll!

Last month we opened up our Everyone’s a Critic

Section for Artifex. It has been fantastic to see

people constructively providing criticism in a way

that not only supports but assists in Members

moving their pieces forward constructively.

For those new to Artifex, or have not seen/used

the Critique Section yet here is a brief explanation.

Stemming from the success of Rate my Sig Thread

on Artifex (created by Elfstruck) and in the

knowledge that Constructive Criticism does assist

in an Artists development of a piece. The Modi

developed a system in which they believed

Members could present their work in a place

knowing that any criticism they would receive was

purely for their benefit.

The section is broken into 3 Threads; First Draft,

Second Draft and Final Draft. Members present

their piece in First Draft and then their piece is

critiqued using a yin-yang concept. For every

Compliment must be a Critique and vice versa, this

was done in the hopes that everyone would

receive a fair and helpful critique to their piece.

We welcome all members to present their work

and/or critique works.

A New Informer, New Look and New activities welcomed

Artifex.justgoo into the New Year, but we are missing

everyone! Tis cold and lonely here at the moment, which

is why we are offering prizes to anyone who by the 31st

of January can increase their post count (without

spamming) by 20+

Prizes:

- A special badge only for you

- Judging Februarys AGE Challenge(1st

3 to make it

to 20+)

- Design a “Look” for Artifex which will be run for

a week.

Way to smexy right?

Congratulations to everyone who submitted pieces into

Artifex.justgoo’s AGE competition. Ladylanaee and I had a

really hard time figuring out the winners (everyone’s work

was way to smexy!). Grats to our own Mathy (Healer_11)

on tying at 1st

with Zombilcious, and Superfrog1912 on 3rd

place. Katava and Harajuku’s pieces are not one to be

missed either =)

Grats again and thank you to all those who supported this

competition =)
