ARTICULATION AGREEMENT IN MARKETING BETWEEN ERIE COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND ST. BONAVENTURE UNIVERSITY 2013 This document delineates requirements for Erie Community College (ECC) students pursuing the Business Administration, A.S. degree in an anticipation of transferring into the baccalaureate program in Marketing at St. Bonaventure University (SBU). Transfer students who have matriculated at SBU must earn a minimum of 45 credits at the university to complete the 120 credits required for graduation. Half of the 30 credit hours required for the major in Marketing must be taken at SBU. In order to graduate in two years from St. Bonaventure University with the B.B.A. in Marketing degree, Erie Community College students must complete the following transferable courses: 1) BU 121; 2) BU 122; 3) BU 131; 4) BU 151; 5) BU 240 or BU 241; 6) BU 261 or BU 262; 7) EC 102; 8) EC 103; 9) choice of MT 175 [transfers must complete MATH 121 at SBU] or MT 181, and 10) MT 143. Recommended but not required are BU 253, BU 254 and MT 144. Appendix A to this agreement juxtaposes the major and cognate requirements for the B.B.A. in Marketing at SBU with those of the A.S. in Business Administration at ECC. Appendix B, relevant to all program-to-program agreements, shows the requirements for SBU’s Clare College, which oversees the university’s twelve core curriculum courses – four of which must be taken at SBU. The other eight CLAR courses can be satisfied within requirements for all A.A. and A.S. degrees at ECC; transfers who have earned the associates’ degrees will have the following Clare College courses waived: CLAR 103, 105, 110, 206, 208 and 209.
