Arthur Rubinstein for 95 years lived in troubled times.
He grew up with seven siblings. Traveling almost all over the world he had many homes in many countries.
First piano lessons he had with Adolf Prechnera in Lodz. Here at the age of 7- after his first public appearance - he played the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
His father - Isaac Rubinstein - was a weaver, and his mother, Felicia, was a housewife. His parents had seven children. Arthur was the youngest.
He had one child named John.
