the Ashkenaz Festival

is the largest Jewish cultural event in

Canada, and one of the largest events

of its kind in the world. The biennial

festival features over 200 artists and

performers working in music, theatre,

dance, film, literature, and visual arts.

For the fifteen years of the festival’s

existence, the biennial promotional

graphics have been the product of

a unique collaboration between two

renowned artists, illustrator Barbara

Klunder and designer Louis Fishauf.
