The Earth Is Beautiful The sky is blue and the earth is green, put those two cycles together and this is what it means. Birds fly, Animals walk, Fish swim, Humans talk.
Look around and take a breath, hear the birds chirp, have a rest. Harmony is peaceful, kind with joy, no war but will deploy: Fresh air and past perfection, Earth is beautiful with a wonderful connection.

Our Very Own Rising Music Stars
Congratulations to Collinsville State High’s rising music stars – Keenan Dawson and Toby Jones who have applied for and successfully gained
entrance into the MusoAcademy immersive six day program in Mackay
during upcoming school holidays.
The Music Academy for teens has been established by the Kadence Group
devoted to nurturing aspiring artists to becoming successful, working
musicians. The course has been designed to help young musicians aged 13 -17 years expand their knowledge, skills and talent; develop their
professionalism.
Keenan and Toby will join 18 students for the inaugural MusoAcademy where they will also cover the fundamentals of what life is really like as
a professional and how to make a sustainable living.
The boys will be involved in workshops over six days, with tutorials including: music vocal and performance, song writing and career
pathways and options.
The six day program will close with a concert, which will be open to parents, friends &
relatives, and the wider
local community. The concert will give an

This Week’s Recipe... ….these are a favourite of Mr Chapman’s that they make regularly for the little and big kids in his family. These corn fritters make a delicious meal or snack for any time of day. Easy to make, this recipe uses a tin of creamed corn and makes fritters that are crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside.
Easy Corn Fritters Serves: 4
Ingredients:
3/4 cup plain flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp honey (optional) 2 x eggs 1 x 410g tin creamed corn salt/pepper oil for cooking
Method:
1. Put all dry ingredients into a bowl (there's no need to sift). 2. Add corn and eggs. Mix. If you're using honey, add it now. The mixture should be quite thick. 3. Heat oil (medium heat) and drop spoonfuls of mixture into pan, fry until bubbles form or until golden then flip. They puff up so you don't need much, I use either a teaspoon or half a tablespoon of mixture for toddler sized fritters. Notes • You can add cheese, sweet chilli sauce or anything to make it a bit more interesting. • These take next to no time and you can make them in big batches and freeze as well.
