Featuring Keynote Speaker: Ryan HarrisRyan Harris is a 10 year veteran of the NFL. In 2015, he became a Super Bowl Champion after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos. He has also played for the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers before retiring in 2016. In that 10 year career Ryan overcame 9 surgeries, doubt from others, and himself to go beyond the average 3 year NFL Career.

Ryan graduated from The University of Notre Dame with two degrees, one in Economics and Policy and the other in Political Science. These days you can listen to Ryan as the Color Analyst for Notre Dame Football radio broadcast, on Altitude’s Sports Radio’s ‘Harris, Hastings and Dover Show’, or watch him on CBS Denver, Altitude TV, and more.

Off the field, Ryan believes that together we can change the world. Through our commitment to educate ourselves, invest in our communities and act on our passions, real change happens.

About Arrupe Jesuit: Arrupe Jesuit High School is a Jesuit Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory school that exclusively serves economically disadvantaged students from Denver’s inner-city neighborhoods.

To prepare our students for success in college and beyond, Arrupe Jesuit maintains rigorous academic coursework, implements a unique Corporate Work Study Program, and upholds a school size that is able to provide a nurturing environment and individual attention to the formation of the whole person. Over the past twelve years, over 50% of AJHS graduates were the first in their families to graduate high school, 100% of graduates have been accepted into college, and 87% were the first in their family to attend college.

The proceeds from Magis Night bridge the gap between what each family contributes (through the student’s Work Study earnings and family tuition payments) and the total cost of their education, keeping tuition at an affordable level for our families. With 80% of our students qualifying for federal free and reduced lunch this year, your partnership is crucial as, together, we work to break the cycle of poverty through work and education.
