ARM 9 - New Features and Benefits 6
ARM 9 replaces the ARM Schedule Risk Analysis Engine with the very latest technology and significant feature enhancements including:
• New Project Checker facility for the Risk Manager which reports on activities loaded from the plan and their relationship constraints, constraint transformation, circular relationships, data integrity and three point estimate checks.
• Export the Project Checker results to MS Excel in order to share with other teams responsible for scheduling.
• Enhanced Monte Carlo, S Curve, Criticality, Sensitivity and Cruciality output using the latest technology to provide configurable outputs that can be exported for use directly in Project report packs.
• Additional outputs showing the Schedule Risk Analysis results for all activities and milestones with powerful display options to allow a completely configurable output.
• The ability to save the options and results of any Schedule Risk Analysis
in order to report on the trend of the forecast project end date over time. Exposing a picture of how Risk and Opportunity have affected the project to date to support future decisions around improving project delivery.
• Analyse different scenarios and produce reports to compare how projects are effected by different risk management approaches.
• Create customised Schedule Risk Analysis reports using the new Analysis RPM models (subject to customers having already purchased RPM).
• Present the planned, risk adjusted and post mitigation plan using an Enhanced ARM Gantt chart and see at a glance which risks are influencing your project delivery.
• A new Risk Analysis dashboard provides a launch pad to view and create, trend and compare different analysis for all of your projects.
Schedule Risk Analysis Enhancements
ARM 9 replaces the ARM Cost/Impact Risk Analysis Engine with the very latest technology and significant feature enhancements including:
• Bringing Schedule Risk Analysis and Cost/Impact Risk Analysis closer together through Risk Analysis Dashboarding.
• Enhanced Cost and Impact Analysis Monte Carlo, S Curve and Sensitivity output using the latest technology to provide configurable outputs that can be exported to different formats.
• The ability to save the options and results of any Cost and Impact Risk Analysis to report on the trend of the projected project cost over time. Allowing project managers to track
the progress of their project in terms of how Risk has been managed and make informed decisions on to influence delivery.
• Analyse different scenarios and produce reports to compare how costs are effected by different risk management approaches.
• Create customised Cost and Impact Risk Analysis reports using the new Analysis RPM models to produce reports that show the most relevant information for your project, department or unit.
Cost/Impact Risk Analysis Enhancements
Significant enhancements to ARM's integration with Project planning tools to make the import of schedule information easier including:
• Support for the Primavera XML file type; import a schedule directly from exported XML format files from the desktop versions of Primavera planning tools
• Import chosen custom fields from the project plan for use in schedule risk analysis reporting and ARM filtering. Use this powerful filtering to build reports that contain just the project activities, phase gates and milestones that are important on your project.
• The ability to map schedule data columns to ARM fields at the time of import
• Additional Primavera EPPM and MS Project Server plan information available on importing, such as last update information and Project ID to assist in locating the correct plan for import.
• Increased support for the number of project activities that can be imported.
• Improved error checking through the project import process
