Day 1: Board your deluxe motorcoach this morning and travel south to Middletown, OH where we will enjoy a tour of Beau Verre Riordan Studios, the oldest continually operating stained glass studio in the country, established in 1838. Take a tour back in time as the owners explain the history of the building and studio. View stained glass windows as the sun cascades through and casts different hues of colors on the floor. Learn how they create stained glass windows and see the artisans at work. Enjoy some time exploring the gift shop before we depart and travel to Covington, KY.

Enjoy a guided tour at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, a scaled down replica of the Cathedral Notre Dame in Paris. This recently refurbished architectural beauty features a gothic design, and among its 82 stained glass windows is a Rose window, larger than the one at Notre Dame and the largest stained glass window in the world. This Basilica is one of only 31 in the country and is considered the most beautiful in the world.

A late afternoon hotel check-in will allow some time to refresh before departing for our evening dinner cruise with musical entertainment. Board the Queen City Clipper riverboat for a private dinner cruise just for our group. Enjoy a buffet dinner and the ever changing scenery on both sides of the Ohio River while listening to contemporary gospel and oldies music. Return to the hotel for a peaceful night’s rest. (D)

Day 2: Enjoy a full breakfast buffet at the hotel to begin the day, and then depart for a visit to the Ark Encounter. Opened in July 2017, this full sized replica of Noah’s Ark is a massive structure, the largest wooden timber structure in the world. The Ark includes hundreds of different displays, including mock-ups of animal stalls, recreations of how Noah and his family may have lived, and even an animatronic version of Noah that will answer questions. A visit to the Ark Encounter will offer the same quality of visit as Universal Studios and is a one of a kind in the world! Enjoy a

buffet lunch at The Ark Encounter’s on-site restaurant, Emzara’s Kitchen (vouchers provided) before boarding your coach for our return trip home, taking with us fond memories of our visit to The Ark Encounter.
