LESSONS IN FABRICATIONVaulted Terminal | Fall 2013 | Critic: Mara Marcu

This terminal is an extension to the Henri Coanda Airport in Bucharest, Romania. The shape of the airport originates from the Romanian egg patterns taking into a program called Catia. The cell takes the form of vaults that get modulated forming the shape of the terminal.

This is a collection of models created during the four years at the University of Virginia. Varied in materials and concepts, these models provide a new perspective to the design.

LESSONS IN FABRICATIONTEDxUVA Stage Design | Spring 2014 Partner: Ben Lawson, Ellison Turpin, and Austin Walker

Will be featured in the American Institute of Architecture Student, CRIT 2015

TEDxUVA is one of the independently organized talks inspired by the popular global conference TED talk with the slogan “Ideas Worth Spreading.”

The theme for TEDxUVA 2014 is Make Your Own Path, which is our underlying concept for the stage design. The cells were laser cut and sewn together with 3D printed supports to make it three dimensional.

LESSONS IN ANIMATIONCritic: Earl Mark | Program: Adobe Maya

The Hunger Game uses motion capture as well as key framing to create the smooth movements of the monkey.

LESSONS IN DRAWINGFall 2014 | Critic: Pam Black

These drawings use a variety of different mediums ranging from regular pencil to charcoal to ink pad. The theme ranges from abstract to landscape to figure drawings to hand drafting.
