The Ariens name is built upon a reputation for

Visit any one of our operations and you will find the very latest

technology: Computer aided design and manufacturing,

robots welding, laser cutting and precise measuring

equipment used to test the tolerance of the components we

punch, cut or extrude.

But the technology we employ acts only to aid the

The Ariens Razor™ represents a breakthrough in ergonomic design. Each and every touch

point on the mower has been developed for ease-of-use and operator comfort. Take the

controls for example – the fluid design of the bail and speed control lever is shaped to

follow the contours of your hands.

Rite-Hite™ technology enables incremental raising and

lowering of the handlebar to suit operators of differing

heights. You can even fold it completely flat – making

stowing away your mower in a garage or shed quick and

easy. In the fully folded position, the Razor™ will even fit in

the boot of your car* – perfect for transporting to and from

the allotment.

A single lever, located above the nearside wheel, adjusts the

height of cut. Geared for operator comfort, the raising and

lowering of the cutter deck, through seven increments is

almost effortless and can be completed single-handed.

The Razor™ is equipped with a single-pressed deep domed

cutter deck. Its unique design ensures that the mower

performs superbly whether it’s mulching, collecting or

rough-cutting a lawn.

Both models are self-propelled. Model 911379 also features

turn-key electric start.

The Classic LM features a 3-in-1 system. It can easily be

configured as a mulcher, cut and collect or side-discharge

machine. An ‘infini-drive’ transmission system allows you to

set the speed of the mower to suit the cutting conditions of

Large 26.7cm, heavy-duty rear wheels provide superb

manoeuvrability. The LM21 SW also features swivelling front

ARIENS ZERO-TURNS THE FASTER WAY TO MOW LARGER LAWNS

In recent years, zero-turn ride-on lawnmowers have grown

in popularity both here in Europe and throughout the USA.

The reason is simple. People are working harder and longer

hours than ever before. Come the weekend, few want to

spend the whole of their precious day-off mowing the lawn.

An Ariens Zoom® or IKON-X will complete the work in no

time at all.

What makes these zero-turns so fast? Rather than the

conventional steering system found on a lawn tractor or

out-front mower, these zero-turns are driven and steered

by the rear wheels via an independent transmission. Two

handles are all you need to drive, brake and steer them. This

system enables you to spin on the spot. Imagine – no three-

point-turn at the end of the cutting pass.

After just a few minutes of practice, the controls feel second

nature. You can easily and precisely cut around obstacles

such as flower beds, trees or garden ornaments.

Our 12-gauge, stamped XLerator™ Deck is uniquely

designed to improve cutting performance. Increased

airflow and a tunnelled cutting area allow for enhanced

discharge of clippings while reducing clogging.

(Available in the Zoom® 42 only)

Ariens manufacture a range of zero-turns to suit lawns of different sizes and requirements.

The smaller and more compact Zoom® 34 is perfect for gardens with limited access, while

the Zoom® 42 is a larger machine with additional power and refinement – it comes fitted

with a 107cm (42") cutter deck.

Both machines are exceedingly tough and durable. The

welded steel chassis is built to a commercial specification

and provides the strength and rigidity required for every-day,

hard use.

Ariens Zoom® is fast. A typical ride-on will mow at speeds of

between 4.8-6.4kph (3-4mph). The Zoom® can mow twice as

fast with no loss of performance. At the end of each pass, it

can turn 180° in its own footprint, ready for cutting the next

row.

Each unit features a commercial-style, foot-operated deck lift.

Simply depress the pedal, select your desired cutting height

using the locator lever then release to lower the deck.

Both models come configured to side-discharge, throwing

grass clippings out of the right-side of the deck. A conversion

kit is included which transforms the Zoom® into a high-

performance mulcher. Here, the grass is kept inside the

deck where it is cut time and time again into small particles.

The clippings are then ejected back into the turf, releasing

nutrients into the soil.

A fully fabricated steel frame gives the IKON-X

extra strength and stability. Being welded into a

single piece, it is more rigid than a bolted, multi-

Introducing Ariens’ very latest zero-turn. The IKON-X is packed with commercial quality

features. It’s a tougher, more durable zero-turn, built to meet and exceed customer

expectations. Its levels of quality, comfort and features surpass anything else in its class.

The IKON-X features a fully welded, heavy-duty tubular steel

frame providing enhanced strength and stability whilst

travelling over different terrains. The 10-gauge, fabricated

deck is both durable and capable of excellent cut quality.

Both models in the range come with a dial-operated deck

height selector. Requiring no physical effort – a quick turn of

the intuitively positioned dial is all it takes to select from one

of 13 cutting heights.

Operator comfort is enhanced by a professional-style plush

high back seat with armrests, padded control arms and also a

vibration-reducing floor mat.

Being a zero-turn, the IKON-X mows twice as fast as a typical

ride-on. At the end of each pass, it can turn 180° in its own

footprint, ready for cutting the next row.

While both models come fitted with side-discharge

Designed and built specifically for European cutting conditions, Ariens garden tractors

utilise unique cutting and collection technology to provide the very best finish on lawns,

paddocks and orchards.

Each Ariens tractor is fitted with a power take-off, a rear-

mounted drive system which allows it to power a series of

attachments such as a grass collector, scarifier or a broadcast

spreader.

Unlike almost any other machine on the market, Ariens

tractors have an independent powered grass collection

system which sweeps the grass clippings from the lawn. An

Ariens tractor will not clog even when cutting in damp or

wet conditions.

Almost all Ariens tractors can be fitted with an optional mid-

mounted brushcutter attachment. This heavy-duty accessory

is capable of cutting tall grass, nettles and brambles or even a

fine lawn.

In addition to the C and A Series 2WD tractors, the Ariens

B Series features 4TRAC four-wheel drive – providing

all-terrain capability on slopes and in difficult, slippery

conditions.

Ariens tractors utilise a unique cutting and collection ensuring that grass is cut and

collected fully each and every time you mow. Even if the lawn is wet, an Ariens tractor will

continue to perform completing the job without clogging.

Most ride-on lawnmowers rely on the air flow caused by

the cutting blades to throw lawn clippings into the grass

catcher. This system can be noisy and inefficient. Damp grass

will often get clogged in the deck and discharge chute. The

Ariens system works in a different way.

C and B Series tractors are fitted with an XRD deck. Here,

three contra-rotating blades cut the grass, throwing the

clippings to the rear of the cutter. High-speed rotating

brushes mounted inside the grass collector sweep up the

cuttings into a large 300 or 390 litre hopper.

The grass collector features an integrated lawn roller. An

Ariens tractor leaves a perfect striped lawn finish each and

every time you mow your lawn.

When the going gets really tough, the Ariens brushcutter attachment is the perfect answer

for clearing tall grass, brambles or nettles from orchards and paddocks.

Using the same principles as an agricultural mulcher, the

mid-mounted brushcutter attachment is capable of cutting

thick, long grass, brambles, thistles and scrub.

Chains located at the fore and rear prevent the grass from

being completely flattened and stop it escaping before being

cut. Six hardened steel mulching blades cut multiple times,

the resulting mulch left on the ground to decompose.

The attachment is equally at home cutting shorter grass on a

lawn as it is in the paddock.

Sizes available are 92cm (36") or 107cm (42").

Built to grade-one specifications and packed with a host of features, the C Series range

delivers outstanding performance. The core benefits of cutting and collecting in the wet,

striping a lawn and the use of a machine 12 months of the year make the C Series the

tractor of choice for thousands of customers.

Like all Ariens garden tractors, a C Series is built to a much

higher specification than most ‘ride-on lawnmowers’. It’s

extra-tough. With a heavy-duty steel chassis, cast front axle

and reinforced cutter deck, a C Series is designed to handle

the rigours of hard work – day in, day out.

The push-button controlled power take-off drives a Powered

Grass Collector, broadcast spreader or scarifier. Each unit is a

Suitable for grounds of around three acres or more, A Series garden tractors will make

short work of mowing large lawns, paddocks and orchards.

The A Series range is made up of two models – the A25-50HE

and the A230D. The A25-50HE is Ariens’ largest petrol garden

tractor and comes with a powerful 726cc Kawasaki engine.

Featuring a 784cc Yanmar diesel engine, the A230D is fuel

efficient and an economical option for people with larger

grounds. Its high-torque, 3-cylinder engine has abundant

power and torque to cope with almost all cutting conditions.

Both models use an optional 390 litre grass collector. This is

lifted and emptied via push button control. Its larger capacity

means fewer trips to empty cuttings. With 58cm rear wheels

and a differential lock, the A Series is comfortable to operate

on inclines and won’t mark your turf.

tasks around the garden.

AN ARIENS FOR YEAR-ROUND CHORES

POWERED SCARIFIER (MAIN PICTURE)Powered directly by the engine, the offset scarifier fits in place

of the grass collector. Its rotating tines remove thatch and moss

allowing the grass plant to recover so improving the overall

condition of the lawn. The working height of the scarifier is fully

adjustable and, with a 76cm (30") operating width, a lawn can

be fully scarified as quickly as it would be mowed. The Powered

Grass Collector can be used to sweep up waste material.

POWERED GRASS COLLECTOREven for those wanting to cut without collecting, the

Powered Grass Collector is a useful option. It’s the quickest

and most efficient way to collect leaves and garden debris

and is invaluable for clearing up after scarifying. Brushing also

stimulates turf, and prevents the formation of thatch, while the

integrated roller leaves neat stripes.

SNOWBLADEFitted with a front-mounted snowblade and high-grip chevron

tyres, an Ariens garden tractor becomes a formidable force in

quickly clearing snow from paths and driveways. The tough

rubber-tipped edge of the steel snowblade has been specifically

designed to clear snow without damaging a concrete or tarmac

surface.

TRANSPORTATION BOXDesigned for C and B Series garden tractors, the 120 litre

transportation box is ideal for carrying logs, compost and tools.

It can be used to transport loads of up to 120kg. Strong and

durable, the box is made from heavy duty steel. Both the back

panel and corner joints have been reinforced for extra strength.

The back panel folds down for easier loading and unloading.
