arete Australia was approached to complete the modernisation to maintain a Grade A rating (as defined by Property Council Australia) at 15 Williams Street Landlord Works.

The works included the demolition to the current tenancy fitout and an upgrade refurbishment to the space in line with the standard the landlord set out.

The Collins Street levels 10-14 works completed by arete Australia included the refurbishment of a new lift car, ground floor slab (lowered to street level), with the heritage integrity of the building kept in tact.

The ground floor will be used as a display suite, Level 5 will be two apartments and the remaining levels are to be used as office space.

49 Exhibition Street Base Building Refurbishment was an upgrade for a large international property manager. The building consisted of a basement, ground floor and six levels including upgrades to all services, Shopfront, Lift Lobby, Amenities, End of Trip Facility and Plant Rooms.

The works included complete demolition of the central core with amenities and plant rooms on each level, structural upgrades and fire proofing, promat flooring, new amenities to each level, open offices with exposed ceilings and polished concrete floors, independent fire proof service shafts and stunning foyer and lift lobby cladding and lighting showpieces.

The client was so happy with the project that they decided late in the project to relocate their offices to Level 6 of the building.

The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) fitout project covered a scope of 3,000 m2 across one level.

The project was completed over a six week programme in a live environment which required stringent noise control due to the Channel 9 operations two floors above.

The works included a new boardroom, offices, new carpet and workstations to the entire floor.

arete were approached to complete the refurbishment works on a building in Sunshine that was an ex-mail sorting warehouse in Melbourne’s North.

The 2,500 m2 refurbishment included amenities and services upgrades, new kitchen, installation of a new shopfront, removal of an existing structural canopy, paving and landscaping works.

The refurbished facility is now home to a Department of Human Services Centrelink and Medicare Service Centre.

The RACV City Club Expansion introduces a new floor/roof to the existing building, with a new glass facade.

The internal works were split into two phases. Phase one commenced with the demolition works to phases 1 and 2.

Phase 1 included the fitout of the Pastry shop / Travel desk / Squash courts and Conservatory.

Phase 2 included the extension of the Gym / Changing rooms with fitouts to the Day spa / Gym offices / hair salon and reception.

All works were carried out within the confines of the city whilst keeping the club fully operational at all times.
