Is there an article draft sitting on your laptop that’s nearly—but not quite—ready to go? Have you received a Revise & Resubmit from a journal and aren’t sure how to proceed? Are you having trouble figuring out the best way to organize or present your ideas? The Scholarly Publications Faculty Fellow would love to help! Professor Lane, the inaugural Scholarly Publications Faculty Fellow (SPFF), works with faculty across colleges and disciplines to revise and edit article manuscripts for submission (or resubmission) to peer-reviewed academic journals. She will review your article manuscript and provide feedback on readability, organization, and technical issues (grammar, punctuation, etc.). For scholars who have received a Revise & Resubmit re-submit response, she will work with you to incorporate reviewer feedback and revise your piece for resubmission. Faculty at all levels from any college or department are welcome to contact Professor Lane to discuss your specific needs and objectives. Appointments are available in-person and by Zoom. She has published two books, numerous book chapters, and frequently contributes to both scholarly and popular periodicals. Lane is an experienced editor who enjoys helping scholars organize and refine their written work. She co-edits a book series, served as a book and film reviews editor, and regularly reviews manuscripts and proposals for academic journals and publishers. Lane earned a PhD in American Studies from Yale University and a BA in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Women’ Studies from Princeton University.
