Alone we can do so little…

Together we can do so much! This week is all about our community helping each other. Brodie Jones has co-ordinated a fundraiser for Pete Minchin, who continues his fight with can-cer. The event “Brodie’s bounce” will be run as part of the Mirrool Silo Kick this weekend.

On Saturday Brodie will lead a group of people to walk the almost 22 kilome-tres from Ardlethan to Mirrool with a football in hand. The walk is expected to take about four-and-a-half hours.

Anyone can take part and are welcome to dress in their footy colours, fancy dress or other colourful and comfortable gear. Participants may even like tobring a football, netball or any ball and bounce or kick it along the way.

All money raised will assist him, his wife Fiona and their four children. As a

school we encourage as many people as possible to support this event. More

Allawah Community Care Needs Happy Drivers

Do you have some time to make a difference in your community by volunteering?

Volunteers are needed to drive local Ardlethan & Beckom senior folk to medical appointments in Temora, Wagga and

surrounds in your own vehicle (drivers reimbursed per km). Please phone Petina or Sharon on 69 273 521 if you are interested & we will give you

more information. You will need to have full vehicle insurance and we will organise for you to have a

Working with Seniors Police Check and a medical (no out of pocket expenses)

Primary Afternoon Organisation At 3pm each day Primary students meet in the K/1 Room before being dismissed for the afternoon. It is important that if there are changes to your child’s organisation for the afternoon that you let the school know so that we can ensure students are heading in the right direction. This is especially important if students are changing which bus they are going on.

Thank You

I, Eileen Gaynor would like to say a special thank you to all of the following.

Father Simon for his blessing and masses and to all other people for their prayers, flowers, cards, visits and phone calls while I was in both the Temora District and Wagga Referral Hospitals. Many thanks also for the wonder-ful care and treatment received from Dr. Wayne Lehmann, Dr. Suttie, Dr. Richardson and nursing staff while in both hospitals.

Finally a special thankyou also to family members Noelene and Kevin, Margaret and Vince, Julie and Norm for their personal care in rehabilitating me back to good health.

God bless and thank you all.

Eileen Gaynor
