Oberwölz macht selbst 02E2 project: “Oberwölz macht zu”Location: Oberwölz, Austria 2012

Collaboration with Gunilla Plank for the Festival RegionaleXII.

look into the head of Science 04K3 project: “Forschungszentrum”Location: Graz, Austria 2012

A center where Master students of Techni-cal University live, work and present their projects and have fun :)The Concept is to bring science closer to the people. Therefore has the working area in the first floor the glass facade to the street. The community space is extended from ground floor vertical to the first floor where a clear way leads to the green side of the parcel. Rooms are located in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors, all together for 10 Sci-entists. A common kitchen is available at every floor. The Terrace can be in summer used as a presentation room.

kayak club house 06K2 Project: “Kayak club”Location: Graz, Austria 2011

The object is formed by 2 units and it has 3 levels from which the main - kayak storage is located as close as possible to the Mur River where the action begins :) The stor-age is divided into main kayak storage and wardrobe with utilities. The stairs in be-tween these spaces lead to the kayak club which has a bar and fan space from where competition can be watched. Kayak club can be also entered from the street, where the separate entrance is located, leading to the middle level with public cheer space. The construction is entirely built from tim-ber.

touch the ground lightly 07A+E ProjectLocation: Graz, Austria 2011

The Idea was to connect the green area of the parcel with the roof of a building, to form extended park. Thus, the building can also be accessed through the roof, con-nected to the park above. The object itself is divided into 2 units. The first unit includes the living area with the kitchen and dining table, as well as a home office and one bedroom. The second unit presents a second bedroom and a separate toilet. Additionally, a reading area is found outside the bedroom. The wooden struc-ture preserves the main facade from over-heating and leads into playful shadows transforming on the inside walls.

lay inbetween the tree crown 08TWE Project: “Tower in Maribor“Location: Kamnica, Slovenia 2012

The idea for this tower that lays close to a kayak club and the Drava River, was to make it a bit mysterious. Entrance is there-fore like a tunnel, located in the ground level of a kayak club. From there, stairs and little openings that gets wider with height, lead to the tree’s crown. There it is possible to observe the life in the forest and enjoy the time in light shadows between the tree crown and wooden structure. The staircase further opens the view to the river and Po-horje and Maribor can be seen on the left and Ruse on the right. The structure is en-tirely made out of special structured limed BSH panels.

Troldekt Awards 2014 ICOMPETITION: Troldekt Awards “The power of introverts“

The Idea was to form smaller units, which provide more private space for people that need more privacy in larger open spaces like libraries, offices, schools and kinder-gartens, but also for smaller spaces like homes. The individual panels are cut out so, that in the intervals they generate smaller open-ings at different heights. In order to sit in-side of those nooks, a colourful horizontal plate is placed on the top and on the bot-tom. Nr. 35793www.troldekt.com
