Our sincere thanks to all of you for attending and participating in all celebrations like Mahashivaratri along with ShivaSahasra Linga Puja, Ramanavami Utsavam which included Sita-Ram Kalyanam, Akhand Ramayan Path and also chantingof Hanuman Chalisa 108 times.

We cannot thank you enough for supporting us on New Year days of every community during the month of Chaitra. In themonth of March, we did Pratishtha and Puja of Shri Satya-narayana and Hanuman ji Utsav Murtis.

Of course, cultural program like Holi/ Anand Bazaar is always universally very well enjoyed by our young generation aswell as the experienced seniors!

We would be very proud and happy to invite you to have a look at our renovated Cultural Hall. Temple is lucky to have adedicated, experienced President.

Our events would not be successful without your presence and support. We truly appreciate the hard work and dedicationof all volunteers including EC members and Board of Trustees who spend hours in finding joy of doing ëSevaí.

the first of which is the Nava Graha Shanti Puja for three days. The second puja is theUtsav Murti Prana Pratishta of Lord Hanuman and Lord Satyanarayana for three days,where Pundit Laxminarayan came from Triputi, India to perform this auspicious puja.The third one is a three-day Surya Yagna Puja and Homam. All of them were very welldone by our own temple priests with mantras and recital of Vedas.

To meet the need of our patrons, we have a versatile team of qualified punditsrepresenting different Hindu religions. Our priests are second to none in Vedic knowledgeand are fluent in Sastra recital. Our temple priest Shree Gopalbhai Mehta resigned as ofDecember 31st 2018 and a new priest Shree Lokeshbhai Pandey has joined the templeas of April 11th 2019. Best of luck to Pundit Gopalbhai and please welcome PunditLokeshji with open arms.

We have installed new tiles and painted the cultural hall, lobby and stage. This hasprovided a newer, fresher look, which has increased our rental sales.We have bought600 new chairs for the cultural hall and for main temple.

We had a volunteer dinner in May. In June we had free dinner and free admission for aplay on ìLife of Swami Vivekanandaî (the artists came from India) for devotees. Thecultural hall was overflowing with volunteers and devotees for both events. Thank youto Nilaben and Hirabhai Jariwala and their team for cooking Mahaprasad on such shortnotice.

We are striving to meet the need of our devotees and are planning to bring a number ofnew events such as Shiv Maha Puran katha, Hindola, Bhagwat Katha, 108 havan KundGayatri Homam, Shree Yantra Chakra Puja and many more to the temple. When you visitthe temple, kindly pick up the flyers and calendars, which has all the events, from thelobby.

We also have a mobile app, which you can download, showcasing all the templeevents. This makes it easier to keep up with all the temple programs from the palm ofyour hand.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Vidya Vikas volunteers, teachers andparents who make this program very successful. The Vidya Vikas school is run bymore than 100 volunteer teachers who are passionate about teaching our youngergeneration. The youth has been very active with various temple projects. The BoysScout has repaired all of the benches and has also build two new benches for thetemple. Thank you to the Boys Scout and their parents for their generous effort.

The temple has an excellent team of Executive Committee and Board of Trustees, whotake pride in working together and doing what is best for the temple and our devotees.Our managers and the cleaning crew do an excellent job as well.

Faith plays a very important role in our lives, as it guides and empowers us to face theworldly challenges. By encouraging the celebration of faith and sharing the message ofGod, we are strengthening our spirit.

As an extended family of the temple, I am humbly requesting your continued generousfinancial and volunteer support to maintain this as a vibrant place of worship. I wouldlike to encourage all of you to volunteer your services to the temple and be part of ourfuture management team. I am very passionate and blessed to be part of this temple andthe team.

D/FW Hindu Temple Vidya Vikas Corner

Vidya Vikas school finished their 2018-19 session with grand annual day program on May 19th 2019 showcasing a pilgrimage to holy places in India. Students of various ages provided a glimpse of holy places and temples of India through dance and drama. Vidya Vikas focuses on nurturing Hindu Religion and Culture and values and community service spirit that will help children develop into righteous citizens with good manners, morals and values. Our curriculum is well rounded, giving children an awareness of various aspects of our Religion and Culture, important concepts of Hinduism, Ramayana, Mahabharat, Bhagavad Gita, festivals, Gods, Saints, Shlokas, Bhajans, Yoga, etc.. Registration is now open for year 2019-20 Religion Classes - for children ages 4 to 18 For ages 5 and above we offer following language classes Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. We also offer Geeta Chanting, Bhajan, Dance and SAT for students For Adults, we offer Yoga, Bhajan, Geeta and Upanishad classes.
