And o course, we cannot write an article on grati art withoutmentioningBanksy.Banksyisagratiartist,painterandlmdirector.His style is satirical with a bit o dark humor, with his trademarkstencilingtechnique.Hisgratiworksoenhavesocialandpoliticalthemes,usuallyonanti-war,anti-capitalism.
LittleisknownoBanksy.Nooneknowshisrealname,hisriends,whathedoesoraliving,etc.Butalmosteveryoneintheartworldisamiliarwithhisstyle.Asideromaddressingpoliticalandsocialissuesin hispieces,hisworkoenhasacertainwittoit,akeensenseohumorthatwillmakeyoulaughoratleastsmirk.Evencelebritiesandrenownedartistshavepraisedhisworks.

Istartedsingingataveryearlyage,howeverImightsayitociallystarted when I was six years old and I won the All Nepal SingingCompetition organizedby BalMandir, which providedme withtheopportunityorecordingthesongatRadioNepal.Sincethentherehasbeennolookingback!
Iwasanactiveparticipantinallmusicaleventsheldinmyschool,GalaxyPublicSchool,andwasapartothemusicclub.Besidesthat,IalsotookprivatetuitionsorEasternClassicalVocals,learntthekeyboardswithmyather,pickeduponguitarbyreadingthroughtheeasyguidebooks,
learnteveryotherinstrumentbysimplyaskingtheirrespectiveownerstogivemesomeeasylessons.
WhenIwas14,IstartedworkingatImageF.M.asanRJwhichiswhereImetNirnayadaNSKandwithhimIrecordedmyrstcommercialsong. At 16, I releasedmy rst albumwhich gotme my rst HitsF.M. Music Award or Best NewArtist. Numerous programs andcollaborationslater,Ireleasedmysecondalbumat19;asongowhichgavemeanotherawardorBestFemalePopVocalPerormance.Ivebeenworkingwithvariousartistsandmusiciansandcollaboratingormoviesandalbums.At22,IwasnominatedorBestRockArtistandBestRockCompositionattheHitsFMAwards.Ataroundthistime,Icollaboratedwiththememberso1974A.D.andweormedourownbandbythenameoSupersonicandweperormedatanumberovenues!Itwasunandexhilaratingandchallengingatthesametime.It
gavemetheopportunitytolearnsomuchaboutmusicandhowbandsworkandthechemistrythatbandsshareandjusthowtocarrymyselcondentlywhileworkingwithsuchlegendsintheNepalimusicscene.Tebandlastedorabout2monthsaerwhichwewentourseparateways.
Meanwhile, theKollywoodmusic scenewas changing inNepal andthistrendoritemnumbershadstarted.ManojKCdaio1974ADwasdoingthemusicorthismainstreammoviecalledHighwayandonedayhejustcameuptomeandaskedmetosingtheitemsongorthatmovie.ItwasweirdsinceIhadneversunganythingremotelyclosetothatgenre,butItookuptheoernevertheless.Soonwewererecordingandthesonggotreleased..theresponsewegotwasjustsomethingelse!Somepeoplewereverysupportiveoit,whilesomethoughtitwasa
completewasteomoneyandenergy!However,ormethesongdidwonders!IgotmoreestablishedasacommercialartistandIhadmanyoersromlmproducersandmusicdirectorswhereIrecordedmanyotheritemnumbers.TesongsareverydierentromtheonesthatIwrite,buteventhenitsuntosingthemandperormthemonstage!
