Dear Trade Visitor,

Welcome to Arab Health Congress 2013. As U.S. Ambassador to theUnited Arab Emirates, I wish you success at this year’s event.

2013 marks the largest Arab Health exhibition ever, and our USA Pavilion now has over 150 exhibitors. This growth is a testament to the ever-increasing demand for innovative American medical products and services in this dynamic region. By building enduring partnerships, U.S. companies help to fulfill the need for high-quality health care goods and services throughout the region.

With demand for health care projected to more than double by 2025, the UAE represents one of the most exciting market opportunities for pharmaceutical, medical device and service providers. This rapid rise in demand has been fueled by a growing population in terms of size, wealth, and life expectancy. In response, the UAE has plans to build multiple new health care facilities. The U.S. Commercial Service, with offices at the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi and at the Consulate General in Dubai, is working to introduce new American health care firms and their latest technologies and services to this rapidly growing market.

As the U.S. Representative for Arab Health and the organizer of the U.S. Pavilion, it has been our honor for nearly 20 years to represent Informa Life Sciences and to present to the Middle East market the finest medical products and services the United States has to offer.

The U.S. Pavilion is a “must visit” area in a trade event that has grown to be among the most significant industry gatherings in the world.
