Sucker rod pumps (SRP) are the most widely used means of artificial lift. They are considered as one of the most efficient, reliable and easy-to-operate types of oil production equipment.

APPLICATION

Sucker rod pumps are used for oil production. They are – key component of sucker rod pumping system.

MATERIALS AND COATINGS

SRP’s main components are barrels, plungers, valves:

- material: high-strength low alloy steel 38CrMoAl (AISI J24055);

INSERT SUCKER ROD PUMP

Insert sucker rod pump is set in borehole on sucker rod string and fixed in tubing string with the help of seating assembly, which ensures leak-tightness.

ADVANTAGES

• Workover cost is reduced as pump can be replaced without tubing pullout;

Tubing sucker rod pump barrel is set in borehole on tubing string to determined depth, while plunger is run-in separately on sucker rod string or together with pump connected by on-tool.

ADVANTAGES

• In comparison to insert pump, barrel of tubing pump can be same or bigger than tubing string;

• Various options of drain valves are available: breakable plug, retrievable standing valve, calibrated burst plate;

SEATING ASSEMBLYSeating assembly is integral part of insert sucker rod pumps and is set in borehole at determined depth.

APPLICATION

Seating assemblies are used to lock insert sucker rod pumps in tubing string and to keep fluid above pump.

Differential gas pump is used for production of high GOR crude to reduce or eliminate negative impact of gas on downhole equipment.

APPLICATION

Production of fluid with high GOR: up to 60% of free gas on pump intake.

APPLICATION

Reciprocal motion transmission to plunger of sucker rodless pump thereby ensuring formation fluid production through tubing string without sucker rod string.
