EDITORIALThe Aptavani of absolutely revered Gnani Purush Dadashri that we read, if we were to

compare with something, what would it be? It is incomparable, matchless (anupam). This speech(vani) of Aptapurush is such that it cannot be compared with anything. No matter what wordsyou may use to present it, even a dictionary will be lacking the words to describe it! That is becauseit is a speech without ownership. It is egoless speech, and a pure speech that is without kashayas(anger-pride-deceit-greed) and vishaya (sexuality). Dadashri does not himself become the ownerof the mind, speech, or body. He is in the state of the Knower and the Seer (Gnata-Drashta)without ego, my-ness, or doership. What else can we find there except for purity? Furthermore,he prevails with transparency!

It is a wonder of this time period to attain the pure knowledge filled speech (Gnan vani) ofthe pure One who has no desire for respect, fame, or any other worldly things. With him, one canonly find love, compassion (karuna), and the intent of how one can become happy and attainsalvation.

The speech of revered Dadashri is considered as speech of the Self (chaitanya vani)because it has come out after touching the Self (chaitanya). Therefore, it is the direct (pratyaksha)Saraswati (Goddess of speech). By listening to this speech, the listener experiences that his intellectis coming to an end. Moreover, the entanglements of the intellect are being solved and one movestoward the enlightened state (samkit) after attaining the right understanding (samyak samjan).When one gets an opportunity to meet a Gnani in person and attain Self-realization (Atmagnan),one’s ego ceases. Moreover, he proceeds further in the path of liberation (moksha) afterexperiencing the Self.

Revered Dadashri Himself does not become the owner of the speech. As long as ‘I spoke’exists, there is that much veil of ignorance (avaran) in the speech. Thus, it will not show exactness.There will be no correctness in it, whereas, this shows exactness. That is because it is a speechwhich has no veil of ignorance (niravaran vani), and that is the reason the understanding getsunveiled by reading it. Dadashri says that ‘if a person understands just one word of mine as it isand stays sincere to it, he can even attain enlightenment.’ That is how powerful his speech is.This is a ‘heartily’ speech, a type of speech that can change the heart of other person. It willcalm down his intellect (buddhi).

This priceless speech is beneficial to everyone. It does not discriminate caste or race. Thisis such an unprecedented speech that it carries the clarification from the state of agnanta(ignorance of the Self) to the state of Gnan-Keval Gnan and is available in the books and the

Aptavani means live broadcast

Questioner: When we read yourAptavani (book containing original words ofGnani Purush Dadashri in satsang), the resultis so beautiful that we feel that we want tokeep on reading only.

Dadashri: These words are of theGnani Purush and they are fresh. Its phases(paryaya) are current and therefore all yourphases change as you read it, and bliss (anand)continues to express. Some can even attainsamkit (the right vision) in this way. This isbecause this speech is the speech of theVitarag. Speech is only worthy if it is withoutattachment or abhorrence, and not otherwise.The speech of Lord Mahavir was withoutattachment and abhorrence, and its effect isstill going on after 2500 years. Therefore, even

Aptavanis. Only the absolute science (vignan) can be found in this speech. Infinite scriptures areencompassed in this speech, which has irrefutable principles (siddhantik vani), which accomplishthe ultimate. This Aptavanis will become the scriptures of the future and will be beneficial to thepeople for thousands of years to come.

It is filled with irrefutable principle (siddhant) that has no contradiction. Available in thiscompilation is what different ways effects can arise, and what various types of results can thisvitarag vani (speech without attachment and abhorrence) bring in a person. By reading this, wewill be awe inspired to have attained such an invaluable thing.

Revered Dadashri had a wish that this speech should reach the people of this world andthat they attain salvation through this speech, through this Gnan. And we are seeing today howrevered Dadashri’s knowledge laden speech (Gnan vani) is reaching the people through variousmedia and becoming the excellent instrument for the salvation. Let us cherish by studying thisextraordinary speech, which is in the form of deshna (liberating speech of the fully enlightenedone), so that we (mahatmas) as well as the people of this world achieve salvation by attaining thisscience.

Questioner: Does one attain samkit(enlightened view, right vision) if he readsDada’s Aptavani?

Dadashri: How did you get the faith?

Questioner: Faith (shraddha) set inverily after reading the Aptavani.

Dadashri: That is called samkit. Whenthis vision (the vision that is explained inAptavani), completely fits into our vision, thenit is considered the Vision of the Self (Atmadrashti). Another vision that ‘this is not it, thisis not it, this, this, this is not it, this, this’ willseem to be two different ones. If you do notread another book, then the solution will come.

Speech that inspires towards the experi-ence of the Self

Questioner: While reading theAptavani, many people experience the Self.Is this because of the live presence of theGnani Purush? Or will the experience remaineven after you are gone?

Dadashri: That experience will indeedremain even afterwards. This is because thoseother gnan were kramic gnan, and thekramic gnan does not have the Self (chetan).This is a science (Vignan). Which means, it iswith the Self, that is why it is with experience.That is why when one reads this book(Aptavani), he sees Dada like this, andeverything else, and one can hear Dada speak,and then the Self comes into experience.

Questioner: Even those who have nottaken the Gnan get the experience of the Selfafter reading Aptavani.

Dadashri: Yes, even then heexperiences the Self. This is because this isAkram Vignan (step-less science of Self-realization). This science is complete. It is a‘full stop’. And the kramic way is just science(gnan) and not vignan (science withoutdoership), and therefore the experience willnot occur. In that gnan, you have to dosomething, and in this Akram, you have tounderstand it. The one who understands thebook, will attain the experience.

Liberating speech of an enlightenedbeing

To understand the speech of anenlightened One (Gnani Purush) is the topmost right vision (samyak darshan). If, afterreading my books, a person understands thatthis is the speech of a Gnani Purush, he will

attain enlightened vision (darshan), because,it is a non-binding, liberating (abandha)speech. It is speech that can go through andthrough. This is a speech without an ownership,speech which lacks anger, pride, deceit, andgreed (kashayas). Speech without anger,pride, deceit, and greed (akashayi vani)! Onecan understand it right away. Even a mithyatvi(one under illusion) can understand that thisspeech is of an enlightened person.

Aptavani describes it as it is

We have disclosed all the facts aboutthe world in the Aptavani. People believe‘God is up there and God does everything’.This is all lack of understanding. ‘We’ havegiven clear explanation in the Aptavani, toremove wrong beliefs from people’s minds.Clear explanations like, ‘On what basis doesthis world run? Who does all this?’ That iswhat this Aptavani is. It will remove allmisunderstanding, and then ‘we’ have clearlysaid, ‘whosoever desires moksha, come tous’. Otherwise, moksha (Atmagnan) cannotbe given through books.

Live speech that has touched the Soul

If you want liberation (moksha), letgo of all the commotion (rituals –kriyakand). Otherwise, if you want tounderstand religion, accept whatever youthink is right. If you are missing anythingover there, you can come and ask me. I willshow you the path; give religion to everyone.I help in kramic marg (step-by-step pathto Self-realization) too. I must help out!Should I not? I am a Gnani Purush, andtherefore, I should help. I am helping. Evenif one grasps just one word of mine,tremendous amount of work will be done.Whatever kind may be the thoughts-words-

actions through his mind-speech-body, it isenough if he grasps just one word. Justfollow one word of mine, my friend, and ifyou do, that will be the sign of moksha. Ifjust one word of a Gnani Purush goes insidethe body, it will bring salvation, because thisspeech is considered alive. Yes, it has comeout with life after touching the Self (Atma).This is considered speech of the Self (chetanvani). Even then, we are calling it a (taped)‘record.’ It is worth understanding what Iam saying. All this is a complete science. Itis a very deep science. It will be very helpfulto the public. It is also practically applicable(vyavaharuk). It includes worldlyinteractions (vyavahar).

This is a vitarag speech

Questioner: You called vani (speech)a ‘record.’ Then who is speaking this vani?Ambalal Patel, or Dada Bhagwan?

Dadashri: The one who is speaking isAmbalal Muljibhai Patel, but his speech iscoming out after touching the Soul, or God(within), and therefore it is a living Goddess ofspeech (pratyaksha Saraswati).

Questioner: Then Dada, how does thespeech touch the God within when it comesout?

Dadashri: The God within is clear(clearly experienced as the absolute Self), andthis speech is clear, and both are normallytogether after touching it. That, of the normalpeople will also come out after touching it (theSelf), but their speech is not clear. It is not avitarag speech. It is a speech with attachmentand abhorrence (raag-dwesh) and thereforecannot touch the God within, right? While this,is the speech without attachment andabhorrence (vitaragi vani)!

How is a vitarag speech?

(For Moksha) Speech with attachmentor abhorrence (raag-dwesh) will not doanything; it will not help. One will requirevitaragi vani (speech without attachment-abhorrence).

Questioner: How is a vitarag speech?

Dadashri: Vitarag speech will be suchthat when people from every religion are seatedhere, no one from any religion will have anyproblem when I speak. Everyone will feel thatthis is correct. Whereas somewhere else, ifthere is any discrepancy, some would get upand leave, believing it to be biased speech,saying it is biased towards Vedanta, Shiva,Muslims, or Jains. Vitarag vani is acceptedby all. It is even acceptable to small childrentoo.

Except for vitarag speech there is noother solution

When someone asked the Lord, ‘Whatis the solution-instrument-method to attainmoksha?’ The Lord replied, ‘Except for thespeech that is vitarag, there is no othersolution.’ (vitarag vani vina, avar na koiupaya) Such a speech is siddha speech (thatwhich accomplishes the ultimate) and it growsand flourishes within the listener. There is noother means to attain moksha except forlistening to the vitarag speech.

Questioner: What is the definition andlevel (praman) of a vitarag speech?

Dadashri: Vitarag speech means thatit is acceptable to every soul and every religion.Only an obstinate person will not accept it.Vitarag speech is pleasant to the soul whereasthe other speeches are pleasant to the mind.

The moment you hear the vitarag speech, itwill appear as new; a speech that has neverbeen heard or read of before. Vitarag speechis that which is acceptable to the followers aswell as the opponents-the non-believers. Eventhe non-believers will say, ‘It is true but itdoes not suite us.’ Whether they practice it ornot is a different story, but they would agreethat it is true.

If both the followers and opponentsaccept it, then you should understand that thisspeech is of a Vitarag. Otherwise, what canbe accomplished in the word of followers only?That is what people in such groups donaturally, do they not? Whereas, the speechthat is vitarag (absolutely without anyattachment or aversion), is accepted by both;the follower and the opponent. They bothaccept the vitaragi speech. It will have a level;it is proportionate. No one can say that thisdoes not have level. No one can say that.

Everyone approves that speech

God has said that vitarag speech isapproved by everyone. People would say that‘this is the authoritative truth (praman).’ Evenan enemy would say that Dada is correct. Noone is ready to accept a discussion that is withattachment and abhorrence (raag-dwesh). Hehimself would not like it. Even the speaker ofthe words with attachment and abhorrence,would not like it.

Questioner: The speaker himself?

Dadashri: The speaker himself does notaccept it, thinking, ‘why is it coming out thisway?’ Then, who else would accept it? Noone finds any mistake in vitarag speech.Everyone is silent there. There are no disputesand debates here. I visit hundreds of thousandsof places, but there is no controversy on any

discussions with me. This is an undisputedspeech. Undisputed means there cannot beany debate on it; such is this type of speech.This is in the form of the living Goddess ofspeech (Saraswati). Therefore, your soulaccepts it for sure.

Thousands of questions have beenasked. Some of them were exceptionally great.However, there has not been a single day thatthe answer has come out differently. Thenpeople would ask me, ‘how do you giveprecise (yathartha) answers to thesequestions?’ It is not possible by anyone togive a precise answer without Keval Gnan(absolute knowledge). These answers are notgiven by intellect. If it were by intellect, it wouldcause ‘that’ to happen. What would happen?Disputes! Just like how people dispute incourts, right?

Questioner: Yes, disputes.

Dadashri: Similarly, people argue here.They have disputes. His soul must accept it.Then, if he wishes to speak in an odd way, heis allowed to do so. To speak oddly is thequality of the ego (ahamkar)!

Not to hurt the foundation of any indi-vidual

No praman is hurt. ‘Our’ speech is suchthat, there is no praman (foundation, relativeauthority, relative view) of this world, in this360 degrees there is, not a single praman isthere, which can get hurt. My thoughts areconstantly not to hurt the level of any religion,opinion of any person. That is called syadvaad(that which does not hurt anyone’s viewpointand is acceptable by all) and that is how it isfor vitarag. I have the stock of theTirthankars, not my own. People ask, ‘Nowyours, Dada Bhagwan’s, will do, will it not?’

I tell them, ‘No, this reign of Lord Mahavirwill indeed continue. I am just working like agold link, in this time era.’ That will give peoplepeace, will it not?

That speech can bring about salvation

People will never be free from pain(dukha) without the speech that is free fromattachment and abhorrence (vitarag vani).And there is no other solution in this world torelieve the pain. One will only get happiness ifthere is vitarag speech. The one that I amspeaking here is vitarag speech.

No other speech will liberate. Only thespeech of the Self-realized person(Atmagnani) will liberate. Vitarag speech isthe only speech that is filled with the intent-view-outlook (bhaav) of total salvation ofothers. That speech itself will take one all theway to liberation.

Amazing power of words in that speech

The Gnani Purush has only talks thatare of benefit to all. Hence, it is said that if aperson accepts and implements (aradhana)even one word of a Gnani Purush, it willtake him to moksha. That is how powerful itis. There is tremendous power of words(vachanbud) in it. That is how effective thesewords are (vachan siddhi).

Questioner: You had said that “if youunderstand one sentence of mine, you will haveyour work done.”

Dadashri: If one life is spent accordingto Gnani’s one sentence, it will bless him. Ifonly one sentence of the Gnani is digested,he will be blessed for ever.

That much medicine is there in that onesentence. He will be blessed if only one

sentence is swallowed. So drinking it with joy,and digesting it, gets the work done. Whenwill the joy arise? It will arise slowly. The moreone understands the essence and the more heunderstands its worth, the greater will be hisjoy.

The speech grows into Gnan as it getsdigested

The words of Gnani will eliminate theego (ahamkar). It will eliminate sexualtendencies (vishaya); it will eliminate my-ness(mamata).

This is the absolute essence ofknowledge (Gnanark). It is completelydigestible and will not give anyone indigestion.You should not disturb or alter any word ofthe Gnani; there is great danger in doing so.Even if only one word of the Gnani sinks in,it will take you to moksha if you allow it to bedigested! If you do not purge it from yoursystem, it will take you all the way to moksha.

However it is not easy to digest. Onebenefits from it, the ultimate principle(siddhant) is acquired, but it grows only afterit has been digested. It is a completely differentmatter, is it not? It will grow somewhat, butnot flourish and flower like this! Such a wonderdoes not just happen. It will grow a bit, theyhave my blessing. I also give my blessings.

It expresses by continuous and repeatedlistening to the speech of the Gnani. Listeningdirectly to the speech of this Gnani, it getsdigested within and only then it expresses forth(pragamey). Having expressed, it comes outin bursts, if one remains the ‘seer’ of it inwisdom. Otherwise, it only needs to be ‘seen’continuously only.

There is such a vachanbud (power and

energy in words) in my words, that one mayfeel that harm is going to occur, but they willnot allow any harm to happen. Such is myvachanbud. That is because there is so verydeep intent of mine in every word, that noharm will ever occur. Hence, there is that muchintent in every word. Even the wrong wordwill straighten out and do the work.

Therefore, all the words that we havehere are in the form of science (vignan). Ifyou understand the science once, then youwould not even have to write it down, youwould remember it. ‘Our’ power of words(vachanbud) is such that you would remembereverything that you listened to, and they wouldshow up whenever they are required. It iscalled Gnan when it shows up whenever it isrequired.

Compassionate speech

Questioner: I read Aptavani. Becauseof that, anger does not arise anymore. Thekashayas (anger-pride-deceit-greed) havebecome subdued because of that.

Dadashri: Aptavani is such that byreading it, kashayas get destroyed. Thatspeech (Aptavani) is with vachanbud (powerand energy), and ‘we’, Gnani Purush, havearisen in full presence (in those words). Theseare the words of the Gnani Purush, it is thepower of speech (vachanbud) and hisintentions (hetu) behind the words, that doesthe work. There is compassion (karuna)associated with this, and that too does thework. Behind these words is my compassion!What compassion! There is nothing to give ortake there. I do not want any respect (maan).I do not want any persistent absorption in thenon-Self matters (taan). I do not want anythingworldly from you. So then what is the

intention? It is purely from the intent andpurpose of compassion.

Questioner: At that time compassion iseffortless, is it not?

Dadashri: Yes, without any effort. Andthat is why it is very beneficial to him.

Speech of the egoless one is a tapedrecord playing

My language is of a villager, and yet itis very energizing and powerful. Each andevery sentence would make a person think,because this is Gnani’s heart-touching speech.The living Saraswati (Saar—essence, Swa—Self, Swati- The flow of the Self, The Essenceof the Self, Goddess of Knowledge). Howwould a person translate or understand themeaning of my word “Mooah” (Dadashri’sspecial word to address the sleeping-mortalone who is unaware of his immortality; theone who is dying by the second)? This wordhas a deep meaning. There is a reproach in it,but no scorn in it. It is a very deep word.

Questioner: When a Gnani Purushuses strong words; it will improve the life ofso many!

Dadashri: Yes, it is not my hobby toreprimand anyone. If you want me to thrashyou with words, I would thrash you with wordsand clean you up. I would not have that typeof hobby, would I? Does it suit a GnaniPurush to use stern words? How sweet is thespeech of the Gnani Purush!

My speech is not stern at all, because Ihave not come to make the other person fall,but to make him climb up. Therefore, none ofmy speech will ever cause anyone to fall.

Questioner: Your speech does not have

pressure and load in it. When we listen toothers’ speech, there is pressure and load, theywould speak forcefully (with ego). They wouldspeak with seriousness. Whereas when youspeak, you speak with ease and easy naturallaughter.

Dadashri: ‘I’ am not speaking that. ‘I’do not ‘reside within’ this body at all. I havenot ‘resided’ in this body for twenty-eight years.And who speaks this speech (vani)? It is not‘I’ who is speaking. It is the ‘original tape-record’ that is speaking.

Aptavani, essence of all religions

That is why I have told everyone tocontinue printing these books. Once printed,people will print them again. Now this (science)is not going to be lost. This matter will not belost.

If someone throws invaluable material inpasti (used books and goods for recyclingand reselling purpose), even then it will grow.It will go back to its original place and keepstanding, because it is a syadvaad speech(speech that does not hurt anyone’sviewpoint). Why would a speech that isconsidered Saraswati stand (get stuck)anywhere? That is why even that income taxofficer was complimenting. This is because this,cannot be found anywhere. This has nothappened previously in this world. Aptavaniwill reach great heights day by day. One willfind solutions to all worldly questions fromAptavani. Both the Christians and the Muslimswill benefit from this. These very people willextract the element of the Self from this. Thatis what is needed.

After reading Aptavani, many peoplesay that there is no need for them to read anyother religious book. Therefore, everything will

operate on the basis of Aptavanis. Thesebooks of ours will help people a great deal.

Pratyaksha Saraswati means…

There can be two places where there ispratyaksha (living, direct) Saraswati (Goddessof speech). Speech of a complete Vitarag,meaning Keval Gnani or a Tirthankar, isconsidered pratyaksha Saraswati. And speechof Bhed Vignani (spiritual scientist that hasthe experiential knowledge that separates theSelf and the non-Self; Dadashri) is consideredpratyaksha Saraswati.

Pratyaksha Saraswati means… ‘not myspeech’. So what kind of speech is that?

Questioner: Without ownership.

Dadashri: Without ownership. So whatwould a speech without an ownership becalled? The scripture writers call it pratyakshaSaraswati.

Speech without ownership isconsidered Saraswati, and the speech ofpeople of this world is ‘my speech,’ and thus,it is with poison. Wherever there is ‘my,’ thereis poison.

Deluded intellect (viparit buddhi) hasspread throughout the world. This speech willpurify the world. Just by listening to it, onewould get salvation (kalyan), because thisspeech is not mine. If it becomes ‘my’ speech,then it will become poison.

This is not my speech

I say ‘my word’ only to the extent it isrequired in the worldly interactions (vyavahar).‘This is not my speech.’ And that is why it willrepair the ‘ears’ of human beings and it willrepair everything. It will completely win theheart. This is ‘heartily’ speech. It is a type of

speech that will have an effect in the heart. Itwill not incite the intellect (buddhi). If there isintellect, it will calm it down. That is becausethere is not a single percent of intellect in me.Thus, where there is a person without intellect,there true work will be accomplished.Otherwise, it will not work.

This is absolute knowledge ladenspeech

Gnani Purush is never to be found,and if there is one, he is a gnani with intellect.Gnanis with intellect will not do. Such gnanisare in competition. One competes to get higherthan the other. Intellect-free Gnanis arecomplete Gnanis. I do not have intellect,absolutely no intellect.

This is all kevalgnanmaya (absoluteknowledge laden) speech. What is KevalGnan? It is where intellect comes to an end;it is where intellectually based knowledge(matignan) comes to an end. Keval Gnan iswhere matignan ends. That light has indeedarisen due to the Keval Gnan.

This speech is associated with KevalGnan, and so it is beneficial to people.Kashayas (anger-pride-deceit-greed) becomedim. It is a speech that is lacking four degreesin Keval Gnan, but there is no problem withthat. Four degrees less is acceptable.

Hence it is a one of the wonders of thisworld. Listen as much as you want to, absorbit if it suits you, and if it does not suit you, thenlet go of it right there and there.

Questioner: Whatever is put forth inwords; does that not become intellectual tothat extent?

Dadashri: No, there is no such rule.Direct as well as indirect light of the Self

(Gnan) can enter into the speech; speech hasnothing to do with it.

Questioner: Is the transmission of directlight (prakash) of the Self subject to limitationsof the medium (the self)?

Dadashri: Speech of direct light issyadvaad speech. It does not hurt anyone,and is accepted by the listener, whereas speechwith intellect is bound to hurt someone. This isbecause intellect based speech contains the‘poison’ in the form of ego. And this speechis without any poison. There is not even fivepercent whose speech is without ego. Speechwith ego will be poisonous by five percent inthe least. There is no poison here at all. Thisis a continuous flow of amrut (nectar ofimmortality).

For someone whose speech ispratyaksha Saraswati, even the celestial beingswill be present there. Otherwise, as long asthere is ‘I am speaking’, the celestial beingswill not be present.

Darshan of pratyaksha Saraswati

This Saraswati Devi (Goddess ofspeech) who we worship; who then isSaraswati Devi? The speech without anyownership is itself the direct Goddess of speech(pratyaksha Saraswati). Just by listening to it,you will get the darshan (inner visualization)of Saraswati.

This speech is pratyaksha Saraswati.This picture of Saraswati is the photo of thisspeech (vani). The darshan of that photographmay have been done, but unless and until onedoes the darshan of ‘this’ Saraswati, the earswill not become pure (pavitra). How muchpurity would arise within by listening to thispratyaksha Saraswati!

Purity would arise just by listening

Whatever speech (vani) I am speakinghas all been written and it is all pratyakshaSaraswati. The speech that does not haveattachment-abhorrence (raag – dwesh) isbeneficial to the people.

There is a photo of Saraswati. Butbecause of she is not live, in front of the eyes(pratyaksha), people do darshan of her‘photo.’ What happens by doing the darshanof that photo? If it is worshipped in the correctway, then the speech that is spoiled willimprove. If you keep on making him do thedarshan of the photo, the speech that hasbecome harsh will begin to improve. However,if you revere my speech, all the work wouldbe accomplished. Just by listening to this livingpratyaksha Saraswati, all the understandingwould be transformed. And what would beconsidered a pratyaksha Saraswati? It is aspeech that does not have even a fraction ofegoism.

Questioner: Egoism does not stay?Does it dissolve?

Dadashri: Yes, this speech verily is suchthat it will dissolve the egoism, anger-pride-deceit-greed (krodh-maan-maya-lobh) will allbe dissolved through this speech. A GnaniPurush has all the things (special spiritualpowers – siddhi) that will dissolve all that.

Thus, by listening to the pratyakshaSaraswati, all the ‘diseases’ will begin todiminish by entering into one’s ears (throughhearing). All the deluded beliefs (mithyatva)that he has heard, his ears will become clean,and the purity (shuddhata) will arise. Thepurity will arise as he is listening to it. Everythingthat has been done till now is verily impure;whatever that has been listened to is impure.

Eating-drinking everything has been impure.You have come into purity only recently.Otherwise, you have never seen purity. Ourlanguage is pure. There is purity. Each andevery word is pure. There is not even theslightest deceit, anger, greed or pride in it;there is nothing in it. This speech is pure.

We call this (speech) ‘taped record,’There is no my-ness (mamata) or ego(ahamkar), and that is why it is pure. Andeverywhere else, there is ‘I spoke’ and ‘myspeech,’ and therefore it is impure.

A niravaran speech

This speech that has come forth is theoriginal taped record and I am the Knowerand the Seer (Gnata-Drashta). And whateverthis speech is saying is being ‘researched’ byme; where is the mistake being made, andwhat is happening. Nonetheless, usually nomistake comes up. Yet, the ‘research’ keepsgoing. I have spoken for twenty-eight years,but no mistake has come up. Throughout theday, at any time. That is because there is noowner. If there was an owner, then it wouldbe with mistakes.

If the speech is without an ownershipthen only it will correct. Otherwise, it will notcorrect.

Questioner: But Dada, whether it ispure or impure, but how can it be correct?When he spoke, then he would say, ‘I hadspoken.’ Dada says, “I do not believe that ‘Ihad spoken’.” But how does the correctnesscome in this? What is correctness?

Dadashri: Where there is ‘I spoke’,there the speech is with that much veil (avaran)of ignorance. Thus, there will be no clarity init. It will not show exactness. This shows exact.

Questioner: But whatever Dada says,it is absolutely solid for sure. For example,Dada just asked me whether I have anyworries. In fact, I do have it. I had denied it,but Dada had immediately asked about it. Howdo you know that?

Dadashri: That is because the speechhas no veil of ignorance (niravaran vani). Itis niravaran- it is pure. That is why everythingis known (comes into awareness). Whereverthe avaran is less, everything comes intoawareness. Nothing is left out. ‘We’ (theGnani Purush) have veil (avaran) of fourdegrees, therefore there exists somelimitations. Rest, mostly everything will beunveiled.

An unprecedented, liberating speech

Gnani Purush has come in this world,having washed (clearing mistakes) his speech(in many previous lives). He has brought sucha beautiful ‘record,’ that it will accomplish thesalvation of the world (jagat kalyan). Thisspeech that I am speaking is the grace ofSaraswati Devi (Goddess of speech). So,facilitate them to hear the live- pratyakshaSaraswati so that people can attain salvation.The Soul that has been in a very deep sleepfor time immemorial; will be awakened by justone word of mine.

I speak after ‘seeing’ (joyeeney kahuchhoo), that this is the complete truth. It mayseem completely different, one has never readit, seen or known it before; it is unprecedented.This is not a talk handed down generations.Even so, believe it, if your soul (heart) acceptsit. You have an Atma, so would the Atma notknow that it accepts it?

Questioner: Which speech isconsidered unprecedented speech?

Dadashri: Taped record. Whether it hasa precedent or not, all speech is indeed andonly, a taped record.

This that I am talking about isunprecedented. It has not been heard, seen,known, or even thought before. You will notget to hear it again in any time era.

This vani purifies the chit

My speech is so magnificent andunprecedented that it has never been heardbefore. One reads again and again, andabsorbs it, and once having absorbed it, hespeaks the same words. And during theabsorption, tremendous unity (ekagrata) ofthe chit is happening. Pure chit is indeed pure,but by retention and absorption (dhaaran) thathappens, the worldly interacting chit becomespure (shuddha) immediately. The chitcontinues to become impure when listening tothe movie songs. The chit that was alreadyimpure, becomes even more impure. Withoutunderstanding, this young child absorbs a pad(spiritual hymn) and sings it, yet it will establisha lot. Can one say anything without firstabsorbing it? When one absorbs it and thenspeaks, for that period, sins (paap) becomewashed! One knows how to wash his clothes,but how can he wash what is within? Medicinesfor purifying chit (chit-shuddhi) are very fewin this world. The purity of chit that one cannotattain by singing for twenty years outside, hecan attain that purity by singing a pad for onetime in my presence. When one reads andthen absorbs it, and then repeats the sameagain, that will purify the chit tremendously.However much chit becomes pure, he willexperience that much bliss.

This pratyaksha Saraswati is beneficial

hurt anyone’s viewpoint (syadvaad vani), it isconsidered pratyaksha Saraswati. Everyonespeaks but it is not called Saraswati. Whencan it be called this? It is those whose speechdoes not hurt any speech of any religion, nobeliefs, whether it is Muslim, Jain, Vaishnav,or anyone. It would help everyone.

When the speech turns into Saraswati,it would touch the hearts of people and thenit would become beneficial (kalyan) to thepeople. None of ‘my’ words would go useless.As these words that are coming out wouldtouch people’s hearts, destroy their sins (paap)and make them beautiful. This type of speechwould rarely come out in any time period.Otherwise, it would be ordinary speech. Andthis is pratyaksha Saraswati. If you listen tothese words and if only one word goes deepwithin, then it would take you to moksha. Ifthese words do not take one to moksha, theyare not Dada’s words. Whatever there is inthe world is called vaikhari (grossest level ofspeech heard through the external senses),while these words are Saraswati. Listening tojust one word would bring peace within.

Unimaginable benefits of listening tothis speech

By listening to ‘Our’ speech (vani), eventhe life-less self (nischetan chetan) would jumpas if it were alive. In the taped record, thewords are mechanical. And the listener of thatwould become like a record playing (if theindividual has not taken Gnan). Moreover, thiswriter is also nischetan chetan. The bookwill become fruitful. This taped record wouldnot give such results, as much as this bookwould. This speech is direct. How would thatbe? The speech is indeed inanimate (jada),but the Gnani’s speech is considered as living(chetan). And because of that, the word

would not go away without growing (beingfruitful). While in the record, the speech wouldbecome inanimate, and it would not grow.Here, while listening to my speech, you wouldbe looking at my conduct, my eyes, and alsothe movements of my hands. The ears wouldbe listening to my speech, and the entire bodywould be in close proximity to the Gnani, andtherefore, one would get tremendous benefit.

This speech has touched the Self

Questioner: The Gnan we attainedfrom you, it is indeed of vaikhari (grossestlevel of speech heard through the externalsenses). It has been attained only throughwords. If Gnan is indeed attained throughwords, then there are words even in thebooks, and you too give it through words. Sowhat is wrong with the books or whatdeficiency is there in the books that we cannotattain from them?

Dadashri: Book itself is inanimate(jada) and words are also inanimate. And thisspeech (Dada’s) has come forth havingtouched God. This is not called vaikhari(grossest level of speech heard through theexternal senses). Vaikhari does not touch theGod, while this speech comes out aftertouching the God. That is why this speech isdifferent.

This is an invaluable thing. Now, thespeech of the Self (chaitanya vani) is nowhereto be found, while this is coming out aftertouching the pure Self (chaitanya), and that iswhy it is experienced as speech of the Self(chaitanyamaya). This speech would give asmuch strength as the Self (chetan) would,because there is the energy of the pure Self(chaitanyabud), the speech of the Self(chaitanya vani).

Extraordinary opportunity of this speech

Questioner: “Hridaye sparshiSaraswati, aa vani lhavo anokho chhe-Withthe heart-touching Saraswati, the opportunityof this speech is extraordinary.”

Dadashri: It is extraordinary. This typeof Saraswati has never been heard.Everywhere, there is a mixture of both theintellect and the heart.

Questioner: The intellect and the hearthave been mixed, meaning it will be like awood mixed with five things.

Dadashri: Yes, yes. This is the onlyone that is from the heart. It is a speech of aperson who is intellect-free. With this heart-touching Saraswati, one gets extraordinaryopportunity. Kavi has sung this, but only if thepeople can understand it!

After that, he (Kavi) wrote downemotionally, “On the tip of just one hair, residethe scriptures of the entire world.” Heproclaimed “what scriptures are you talkingabout? On the tip of just one hair of Dada,reside the scriptures of the entire world.” Thatis what he has said. But it would only work ifpeople can understand this.

Questioner: This speech is such that ifthe puzzle of the intellect is not being solved,then this speech will solve it.

Dadashri: It is a heart-touching speech.A heart-touching speech is very amazing.

Goddess of speech that touches one’sheart

What Dada is saying, it is ‘hridaysparshiSaraswati (Goddess of speech that touchesone’s heart)’! This happens very rarely. Thespeech that has not touched the heart

(hridaysparshi speech), it is a speech ofeveryone that has come forth having touchedthe mind. Speech that has touched the mind,it gives mind the peace. But it will not still theheart. When does the heart become still? It iswhen one gets to hear the speech that hascome forth having touched the heart(hridaysparshi speech).

Hridaysparshi speech does not mean ittouches my heart, but it touches the listener’sheart. And mine touches my Atma and comesforth. Otherwise no one’s heart will accept it.And hridaysparshi speech will indeed affecteveryone. Such speech has words thataccomplish the intended effect (vachansiddhi)in it.

How am I able to adjust with so manypeople? You speak in a way that would breakthe other person’s heart. Yours would breakby a quarter, while the other person’s wouldbreak by fifty percent. ‘We’ do not do thatbusiness. ‘We’ do not break anyone’s heart.That is why my speech is such that will touchone’s heart.

My entire heart is tender, it is soft. It isnot at all tainted. That is why the speech willbe comprehensible through heart(hridaygamya). Yes, that speech will itselfremove your ‘diseases.’ Else, it would not behridaygamya; it would be superfluous. Thatspeech would cause clashes and headaches.This speech can destroy all the diseases.

A speech without ownership

‘My’ speech is comprehensible throughheart (hridaygamya). Moreover, it has powerand energy of words (vachanbud). A speechthat would let go only after it has made onesiddha (That which leads to the Self withoutany controversy). Thus, each and every word

is of different type. That is because only thetwenty-four Tirthankars had a speech withoutownership in this world. And now, this speechis without ownership. That speech willaccomplish the work, whose speech does nothave any owner. Otherwise, no work will bedone. The one with ownership could not gethis work done, then how can he accomplishours? “How did I speak?” “How did you likemy discussion?” Therefore, this is also a radio,and so is that. Where there is speech withoutownership, one will enjoy listening to it verymuch. I also enjoy it very much. I myself listento this.

Would be enchanted just by listening toit

When the religion of the vitarags comesto the ‘throne’ and to the stage, marvelousthings will happen. ‘Every worldly phase isonly a natural happening, governed by scientificcircumstantial evidences (Vyavasthit), andthere is no God overhead as the doer of it.’(Avastha maatra kudarati rachana chhe,jeno koi bapoya rachnaar nathi aney teyvyavasthit chhe). When people will knowthese words, they will be enchanted. Thescience from the heart of the twenty-fourTirthankars which has not been revealed,which had remained within them, is comingout through ‘My’ speech. Even the childrenbecome ‘drenched’ due to ‘our’ sweet ‘drink.’Even they do not like to move away fromhere.

This is the greatest wonder of thiscurrent era. People in America becomeenchanted after reading the Aptavanis. Theyare very helpful to people, are they not? Theywill bless the whole world. This speech issuch that it will remove all the rust from thisworld. Constantly, even while brushing the

teeth in the morning, the tape recorder isplayed. People do not let go of even a singleword from it and they publish books fromthem. Others will be blessed when they readthem. Their hearts will be pacified uponreading them.

A bright antahkaran is required tounderstand the speech

Questioner: Sometimes some peoplecannot understand your language of speech.What is the reason for that?

Dadashri: How can they understand?It is like this: to understand the language onehas to have merit karma (punya). And if theheart is pure (shukal), he would immediatelyrecognize everything. But if the heart hasvarious types of muddles (gotalo), then hewould not be able to understand. Tounderstand the Gnani’s language, one has tohave a pure (shukal) heart.

So, how is ‘our’ speech? Only a personwith pure (shukal) antahkaran (internalfunctioning mechanism composed of the mind,the intellect, the chit and the ego) would beable to understand. Others would not be ableto understand. When does one completelyunderstand it? It is when the antahkaran ispure (shukal).

Questioner: What is pureantahkaran?

Dadashri: Pure antahkaran means theenergy to understand speech that is withoutattachment and abhorrence (vitaragi vani).Meaning, the ego is in normality during thattime. If one has a state which is not belownormal or above normal, then he would beable to understand it. Otherwise, he wouldnot be able to understand it.

A speech with love

Questioner: What does vallabhatamean?

Dadashri: Vallabhata means that whenthe speech comes forth, people becomeabsolutely enamored with that speech, theyfall in love with it. One will fall in love with itonly if it has vallabhata in it. So which speechis that? It is a speech that is beneficial to theSelf. But if the speech is of a thief, only a thiefwill like it very much. He will not like our talk.And when one speaks, vallabhata (love) willincrease. The language may be that of a villager,but it will lead to increasing love, whereas thatother may have a very polished language butwithout vallabhata.

Questioner: The word vallabhata thatyou have used, can you please dissect it forus?

Dadashri: Vallabhata is such a thingthat there is no ego in his speech. Such speechcontinues to flow. With such speech vallabhatawill always increase a lot there. He is called avallabhi purush.

Speech that is immortal

Every speech of a Gnani is very sweet.What can it be compared with?

Questioner: Amrutvani (Nectar-filledspeech; a speech that will make one immortal).

Dadashri: Yes, it is a speech filled with‘nectar’ of immortality (amrutmaya vani). Asa person is listening to my words, he willbecome wise (dahyo). By listening to mywords, his intellect will cease. That is whythere is extraordinary bliss right now. Onewould not like to get up from this place. Wouldyou like to get up?

Sins get destroyed to ashes by thisunique speech

Hence, for all those who come here,people of any type, any caste, whethereducated or uneducated, no one’s foundationwill be hurt! And that speech will be sweet. Itwill feel sweet, lovely. People would like tokeep on listening to it and by listening to it thestock of sins will get destroyed to ashes. Whenwas this speech heard before? It was heardduring the time of Tirthankars.

The gnan of the world is worldly(laukik) gnan. And the Gnan of the GnaniPurush is beyond this relative world (alaukik).As one listens to this extraordinary Gnan, thesins begin to diminish. One would begin toforget the whole world by sitting near him. Allthe pains would be forgotten and there wouldbe a blissful state (samadhi) within.

Speech that breaks the veil

Questioner: Your speech would breakthe veil (avaran) of ignorance over the Self,would it not?

Dadashri: It will break the veil ofignorance. As much as you listen, that willshatter much the veil.

Questioner: So would it happen thatnot all of your speech will be effective?

Dadashri: Will not be effective,meaning?

Questioner: For example, you aresaying one thing. There are so many differentpeople sitting here. Now, it will definitely havedifferent effect on everyone. People willunderstand it differently. Or is there a differencein the light of knowledge that falls within eachone?

Dadashri: All the ‘filters’ are different,are they not?

Questioner: No. What I mean to askis, where exactly does your speech unfold withclarity within us? What process must behappening inside?

Dadashri: Wherever the veil ofignorance (avaran) gets broken from theregion of the Soul, there it is ‘seen’, what I amsaying. You will be convinced. As the veil isbroken for you, you will understand when youhear the words that “all this is dependent uponthe space, all the faces of the people etc.”Those people, whose veil has not been broken,will not understand this.

Questioner: So the effect of breakingof the veil (avaran) by this speech and thespeech that is retained in memory, are twothings that are happening, right?

Dadashri: No, it comes into the beliefbecause veil (avaran) has been broken, but ithas not come into Gnan. It comes into Gnanwhen this is how it is, (roop) is experiencedby the Self.

Questioner: Does your speech breakthe veil (avaran) or does it facilitate memory?

Dadashri: No. It breaks the avaranand the belief arises, and the conviction(pratiti) ensues that this is verily the truth. Thebreaking of veil (avaran) and the establishmentof the conviction (pratiti), both happen at thesame time.

Questioner: Now, it is important tocome into the belief after avaran has beenbroken, is it not? It is not important that itremains in memory, is it?

Dadashri: That is not important at all.

Only that which was forgotten comes backinto memory.

This speech will make bliss arise

Questioner: I am listening to younow, but when I will leave; your thoughtsthat are there within me, will also slowly goaway from me. Then what should be donethere?

Dadashri: They will leave, but notbefore they begin growing (and ultimatelyblossoming). This each and every word, willgrow. This is different. Right now, bliss arisesjust by listening to this. You will not be bored,bliss (anand) will arise instead. That is becauseone has never listened to the Self (talk fromthe manifest Self) before. And the truth hasnever been heard nor has it been known.When the talk is real, bliss will arise. Otherwise,ego based reactions (vikalp, ‘I am Chandulal’)will occur.

Many of your ‘diseases’ will go away,just by sitting near me. This moksha meansyou do not have to do anything. You onlyhave to understand it. You only have tounderstand what the reality (fact) is. That iswhy I continuously explain it to you. So, byunderstanding all this, the ignorance of the Self(agnan) will go away.

Speech filled with love

‘Our’ speech is filled with love(premmaya). It is openly (evident to all) filledwith love. Everyone would feel that ‘Dada hasmore love towards me.’ Everyone would feellike that. But Dada knows towards whom thelove is more.

Questioner: Towards whom, Dada?

Dadashri: There is equal love. Yes, if

someone is falling, I would keep more lovethere. I would not let that person fall.

The pure love that you see of the GnaniPurush, the love that you see clearly, is itselfthe Divine Lord in human form. The pure lovethat you can see, the one that neither increasesnor decreases, the love that remains constant,is the Absolute Self. The Lord in human formis clearly visible through His love. Gnan is theinvisible, subtle form of the Lord, which takessome time to understand. So there is no needto look for pure love outside in the world.Outside, all you have is infatuation andattraction.

Sweet, filled with juice of the Self

There is no Soul in the scriptures; it iswith the Gnani Purush. He is the One whohas known it, experienced it, who constantlyremains in it (as the Self), and who has noownership of the body, mind or speech. Thespeech that ‘we’ (The Gnani Purush) arespeaking, is the record that is speaking, I amnot speaking. I am not the owner of it. Thereis no ownership of that; I only reside withinthe state (swaroop) of the Self. The sweetnessonly exists in that state and the sweetness isunderstood over there only. It is not understoodanywhere else. That is because one can onlyunderstand the sweetness if one enters the‘home department’ (the Self). Sweetness willnot be understood in the ‘foreign department’(the non-Self).

Questioner: This speech is so sweetthat we feel that we have not had enough ofit.

Dadashri: ‘Our’ speech is filled withthe ‘juice of the Self’ (swaras), which is whyyou feel like you do not get enough of it. Thereis such a sweet sound in ‘our speech’, that

one gets absorbed merely by listening to it. Itsmeaning can be set aside, but the sweetness issuch that it cannot be described nor can it becompared with anything. If the Gnani’s speech(vani) is like this, then imagine how Lord’s(Simandhar Swami, current living Tirthankar)speech will be?

It is simply difficult to compare theGnani’s speech with anything. Even higherthan that, if a Tirthankar Bhagwan’s speechis heard, no one would like to move awayfrom that place.

Speech in the form of Deshna

Questioner: You were talking aboutdeshna (speech of the omniscient One, itliberates the listener) of Lord Mahavir.Yesterday, your satsang that happened forapproximately one and half hour and thespeech that came out; during that time, camethe feeling (bhaav) as if Lord Mahavir’sdeshna is going on and as if we are sitting inthat vicinity (parshada; the creatures of fourgatis including humans in samovasaran).

Dadashri: When the words of deshnacome out, the atmosphere becomes like that.And the speech (vani), at that time, is just likethe deshna.

The Tirthankar’s speech is so sweetthat it cannot be compared with anything, andthat speech is called deshna. Deshna meansthat, which does not have an owner. Thisspeech of ‘ours’ is considered deshna. Onlyan Akram Vignani has deshna, and theTirthankars have it. That’s it. No one elsecan give deshna. Keval Gnanis become thatway by themselves (swayambhu) and they goto moksha by themselves.

the ganadhars? (chief disciple of theTirthankar)?

Dadashri: A Ganadhar’s speech is notdeshna. That would be the work of only aTirthankar. Or else, it would be the work ofa Gnani Purush like me. Gnani Purush isconsidered as ‘meddlesome’ (khatpatia). ThisDadashri is a meddlesome Vitarag (one whois free from attachment and abhorrence).

Speech that does not involve thinking

Questioner: That lady was once tellingyou, that “Dada thinks too much before hespeaks.”

Dadashri: Yes, she was saying that.Then, I had told her, ‘Sister, you are beingmistaken. I do not think at all.’ She asks, ‘Dothings like that happen in the world? You speakeverything so greatly, without any mistake! Youare thinking a lot and then you are speaking!’But she was the only one who had said this.She had gone a bit farther as being a thinker.

She must be thinking “how are thesetypes of words coming out? Therefore, he mustbe thinking before speaking. Otherwise it isnot possible to speak in such a way!” I said,‘I am not speaking after thinking at all, that iswhy it is coming out this way.’ Thinking cannever be good. The thinker is always entangled.And for ‘us,’ it is a state without any need forthinking (nirvichaar, to ‘see’ the thoughts bybeing the Self). So there are no thoughts atall!

Extraordinary talk about the ultimatetruth

People ask me, the scientists ask me,‘Where do you get the talks of scriptures from?Where do you get the answers from?’ I toldthem, ‘These are not the answers from books.

I answer from what I ‘see’. I speak from whatI have ‘seen’ from the ‘vision.’

Questioner: But they would not be ableto understand that, right?

Dadashri: Then they in turn ask me,‘What is the meaning of you are answeringafter ‘seeing’?’ I said that whatever darshan(enlightened vision) that has arisen within, Ican ‘see’ in that. It involves, what is he asking,what answer is the appropriate answer, andwhat exactness should be there. I ‘see’ all thatand then tell you (the answer).

‘We’ have not spoken anything basedon any scriptures or books. ‘We’ say it as‘we’ ‘see’ it. Therefore, based on the Gnanwe attained, we saw, ‘What is the Self? Whoam I? How does this world run? Who runsit?’ We saw all that and told you just the wayit is. The world knows the relative (laukik),and not the real (alaukik). We have talkedabout the real (alaukik; the Self) in this book,which we have seen as it is.

The answers I got and I understood,they cannot be put in words. You willunderstand it when you personally experiencethat. But I am explaining all that in words. Youwill indeed not understand the real thing,because there are no words there. Details willnot come forth in speech. Whatever words Ican use, I am using them to tell you externally,but that is not the main thing, is it? It is whenyou taste it yourself, when you come to thatplace, you will know what it is!

Atma is the subtlest (sookshmatam)thing, and the external regions of the Atmaare subtler (sookshmatar). So I saw up tothe sookshmatar level. Now there is nosookshmatar speech, and so that is wherethe speech ends, it stops. Therefore, I have to

say that you have to experience it. That is whyI say that it is of experience, it cannot beknown through knowing, it can be knownthrough experiencing it. Final solution (nivedo)is only through experience.

The speech of the One with experienceis beneficial to all

Questioner: Your speech is resultingfrom experience (anubhavjanya). So at whatlevel does it touch the other person?

Dadashri: The one who has attainedour Gnan, to him it will indeed adjust; and theother person will also feel at peace knowingthat it is the truth. That is because there isAtma within, is there not?

Questioner: Does it touch the main Selfand awaken it?

Dadashri: It will not refrain fromtouching it. That is why people take the bookswithout even attaining the Gnan. ‘Veryamazing, very amazing’ they say. Wow, whatan amazing thing! This means the speech(Dadavani, Aptavani) has touched him. Howwould he say that it is amazing, without thathappening?

Questioner: He cannot say that, Dada.I personally experienced that.

Dadashri: Yes, that is true. And youare considered as a writer, literary person.When you experience it, imagine how the othersmust be experiencing it? On the contrary, theone who does not understand it, heexperiences a lot. There is no interference (ofhis intellect) for him, is there?

Questioner: Yes, yes, it is true. Wewould do the interfering.

Dadashri: Yes, you will interfere. Those

others lack the understanding; hence they willindeed not interfere. They will immediatelyexperience a lot of peace. Whereas ininterfering, you discovered this much that, ‘Ihad such an experience.’ So how much truesubstance is there in that thing?

This is completely independent andoriginal. It is completely pure.

Questioner: It is not a regularcustomary trend and routine.

Dadashri: No, no. Each and every wordwill take one to moksha. This is a speechwith experience (anubhav vani). It is apractical speech. That other speech that says,‘Do it this way’, is gnan. With the gnan itshows the other thing. Whereas this that I amtelling you; is the prevailing experience of mine.So, it will come with a taste, it is called anexperience.

Gnani Purush’s speech has absolutemeaning

All speech of a Gnani Purush is forthe Self of the other, the absolute meaning(parmartha). The speech itself is parmartha.To know what my viewpoint is, a personwould have to read a thousand times tounderstand the absolute meaning(parmartha). No one would reach theparmartha with literal scholarly knowledge.The parmartha of the Gnani Purush isexemplary. When layers after layers that coverthe meaning of a word (artha) are removed,the absolute meaning (param artha) happens,and that is the truth (the Self). Only themeaning (artha) happens to become theabsolute meaning (param artha). It comesafter the people keep on understanding andkeep on removing layers after layers of themeaning (artha).

Solutions come with understanding thatspeech

Knowing the process of understandingeach word of ‘Ours’ (Gnani Purush), onewill find that there are infinite scriptures filledin it. Liberation happens if it is understoodpoint-to-point and with exactness. Therefore,keep reading it (Aptavani-Dadavani) duringfree time. One should continue where it wasleft off. And if there is a sentence that you donot like and if it does not fit you, then youshould leave that. You would understand it afterlong time. You should not provide a judgmentthat this is wrong. That is because the speechof the Gnani Purush should not be cancelled.

Only a person who does not transgressone word of a Gnani Purush will attain it. Ifthere exist even a subtlest of the inner distancebetween an iron piece and a parasmani (stonethat turns everything it touches into gold), theiron would never turn into gold.

‘Water’ from the deepest spring isflowing in simple style

If you ask ‘what is the fact of thisworldly life (sansar),’ I would tell you all thefacts. Then it will come in exactness for you.That is because ‘we’ do not tell you thewords from the scriptures. I am telling youby seeing the way it works. We are sayingthe way ‘we’ see. The words of the scripturesare heavy. And you will not be able tounderstand them as well, if I were to talk inthe language of the scriptures. That is why Ihave used my language: light and a simplelanguage.

I speak all this in pure Gujaratilanguage. Terminological (paribhashik)words; the words of the Jain, you will not beable to understand. And those talks of

scriptures are not mine. The abyss of the earthhas opened up for me, and the water flowsout from that. People asked me, ‘how doyou say this?’ Then, I told them that I say itas I ‘see’. I ‘see’ this way and I get theanswer right away.

The ‘taped record’ starts as soon asyou ask. And it would keep going on for twohours. Moreover, it is like you would not needto cancel out a word. It will be such that yourSoul will accept everything.

How amazing is this Aptavani!

The talks of the Gnani Purush are“heartily” (touch the heart). They are not ofintellect. All these Aptavanis are the speechthat has come out without intellect, and it hasbeen written like that. Hence, this ‘tapedrecord’ that has come out is the speechwithout ownership. It is considered vitaragivani (speech without attachment andabhorrence). By reading these books, peopleare saying that ‘all this talks of Dada is withoutattachment and abhorrence. Wow! Whatamazing books!’ The one who reads isenthralled by the extraordinary nature of thesebooks.

I am speaking something more than thescriptures. What ‘we’ are saying has not beenseen through the scriptures or by the peopleand is considered to be fraction (ansha) ofKeval Gnan (absolute Knowledge). Thisspeech is coming out after seeing in the KevalGnan. People will use this as scriptures in thefuture.

Amazing science has been encompassedin these Aptavanis

For once, let all the words flow as theyare. People will continue asking questions and

new insights will be revealed from the answers.All that is spoken here will be printed as newscriptures. Thereafter, real Knowledge will beestablished within humans as they extract theultimate meaning of these words. In theseAptavanis, experience of the Self has beenstated. That encompasses all.

I have been speaking about this sciencefor many years, and yet it has not finished.Two to three tapes are recorded daily. Thishas all been recorded in a tape recorder.Niruben has not let single word of mine goastray. She has collected all the words in thistape recorder. Books will be printed from this.

To print these books is considered asGnan daan (donation of Knowledge ofLiberation). Books for medical study are verythick, and of what use could they actually beto the people? They would not even buy itfor quarter of a Rupee. However, a Doctorcan do their true valuation. Similarly, thebooks of Gnan are like that. This book of‘ours’ will become magnificent. Our bookswill go in the foreign countries; they will betranslated.

This is experience-attained speech

This book of Aptavani is something veryspecial indeed. Speech that comes fromexperience of the Self is extremely rare. Therecan never be a book on experience ofspirituality. This Aptavani has that experienceonly. The examples are of the experience. ‘We’have described everything from the mountaintop.

Those people who are saying, they aretalking about the top while being at the bottom,and I stand on the top and tell you. Not aword of mine differs. Every word of mine isworthy of rewriting scriptures. New scripture

can be written if one wants to. What I see isexactly what I am telling you.

Nowhere has the complete experiencebeen disclosed, because those people came tothe station of experience of the Self, disclosedpart of it, but they stopped saying the rest ofthe experience. Whereas, this Aptavani of oursis about the complete experience and thisAptavani will work forever.

All these Aptavanis are ‘helping.’ Willpeople of future generations not need it? Itwill be helpful to them.

All darshan are encompassed in thisspeech

Questioner: Similar to those sixdarshan (vision), is the Aptavani notconsidered one darshan?

Dadashri: No. Aptavani is like thecollection of the six darshan put together. Thesix darshan put together individually. Theywould say ‘this is ours, this is ours, this isours.’ And this is a doctrine that accepts allthe views (anekant). It is not an individualizedperspective (ekantik). That is why it is acollection of six darshan. People from sixdarshan are sitting here together, and still noone would get up and leave. Here, there arefollowers of Jainism, Vedanta, as well as Parsis.Everyone would feel like it is their owndarshan. Therefore, there would be nopartiality here; it would be impartial.

New scriptures will be created from theAptavani

This is the direct Goddess of speech(pratyaksha Saraswati) of the Aptapurush.These Aptavanis have the talks that will createnew scriptures. Otherwise, amidst so manyscriptures, how can one find an end?

When there is a good time coming onearth, the Gnani Purush manifests and hisdeshna itself is ‘shrut gnan’ (Scriptural orliterate knowledge received through hearing).Just one sentence of his can encompass entirescriptures. If you understand this and becomestraightforward, then you will accomplish thework. This science (vignan) is such that onecan become ekavtari (just one more lifetimebefore the final liberation). Hundreds ofthousands of life times are bypassed. With thisvignan, both the attachment and abhorrencewill go away and one will become vitarag.He will become aguru-laghu (neither heavynor light, without any kashaya).

It is written in the scriptures to speaktruth. Then people say, ‘We cannot speak thetruth.’ Therefore give us the scripture of thisera (kaliyugi) so that it can be useful. Kaliyugwill not have an effect and one would stillattain liberation. This type of scriptures will bewritten now. Talk of the scriptures havebecome like old medicine now. Now, the newmedicines are required. This science has comeat the right time. Hence, this science is of adifferent kind. Thus, take as much benefit asyou can of this science.

Vignan has manifested in Gujaratilanguage

This is the world’s great and amazingscience (vignan), which is without anycontradictions, and is with ultimate principles(siddhantik). This Akram Vignan will workfor the salvation of the entire world. Try tounderstand it. If you learn Gujarati, then youwill understand this vignan. Consider Gujaratias a mother of all languages. And the one whowishes to learn this science, will definitely needto learn Gujarati language.

You may have studied in all the colleges,mooah—oh mortal one, but unless you havestudied in ‘Dada’s College,’ you will neverknow when you ‘fractured.’

These books will do a lot of work forthousands of years. There will be fourteenAptavanis like this. People will put away theother books on the shelf.

There is complete clarification from thevery beginning state of ignorance (agnan) tothe state of absolute knowledge (KevalGnan) in this Aptavani. The world is verydeep, and here we have given all theclarifications. How the world is running, howmuch you have to do and how much you donot have to; that also have been written inhere. How much is getting charged, how muchis getting discharged? How can the chargingbe stopped, how does the worldly life(sansar) begin? How does liberation occur?All that has been written and everything hasbeen included in it. How is the main Soul(muda Atma), has all been written. Andeverything is in the simple and straightforwardGujarati language. It does not haveterminological (paribhashik) words, it is in‘exact’ language, and it is beneficial.Therefore, the entire path (marg) has beenmentioned in this. Nothing has been left out.

Questioner: Therefore Dada, we aresaying that we are very grateful to theAptavani.

Dadashri: Aptavani is one kind ofone’s own living and awakened Self(swaroop).

world are all Gnanmaya (takes one towardsscience); while this is the only one that isVignanmaya (takes one towards absolutescience). Therefore, this will explain the talksrelated all the way to the Keval Gnan in asimple and straightforward language. That isbecause I have failed in attaining the state ofKeval Gnan. Keval Gnan was as close astouching my fingertips and was missed; itcould not be digested. It was achieved butcould it not be digested. It stayed at 356degrees. It should be 360, but remained shortby four degrees. I became useful to youbecause I failed. I became available for all ofyou because I failed, otherwise, how wouldhave I been available? If I had passed, Iwould have been gone. I have failed due tothe awakening of the merit karma effect(punya) of so many people. I do not haveproblem with that. That is because I am incomplete moksha, and I have not seenanything but moksha for the (past) twenty-eight years. That is because I do not havethoughts about sex (vishaya), I do not havethoughts of kashayas (anger-pride-deceit-greed), I do not want anything from anyone,I do not have the slightest ‘my-ness’(mamata) or ego (ahamkar), and I do noteven have any intellect (buddhi).

The Tirthankars were the only one whodid not have the intellect, and the next is theAkram Vignani (Absolute Scientist of thestep-less path to Self-realization). Otherwise,even the gnanis of the kramic path also haveintellect. And this is the path that is able todestroy all the sins. Within just one hour, itwill destroy all the sins and remove them.Now is this in my power to do so? It is thegrace of the Lord. The Lord of the FourteenWorlds has manifested. If a person were todo vandan (salutation; bow down with total

respect) once to such a Gnani Purush, eventhen so many of his future lives would getreduced.

Get the work done by understandingthis speech

If a person follows my five Agnas in‘Our’ presence (the Self) or even takes awayany one word, he would attain moksha. If aperson grasps any one of the words of thisAkram Vignan and begins to think over itand practices it, he will be liberated. That isbecause Akram Vignan is a ‘living’ Gnan, itis a Vignan that will work on its own, and thisis a complete principle. There is no sentenceof any books in it. So if even one ‘letter’ ofthis talk is understood, then one will be ableto understand all the ‘letters!’ Now that youhave come here, get your work accomplished,by doing completion!

That is when the speech will tell thescience

Questioner: How long has the link ofyour sadhana (spiritual quest) being going on?

Dadashri: Since a long time! Everyonehas groups of links that follow each other. Allthese are indeed links. Gnan happened thatday in 1958. Then that Gnan has to manifest.The link for it to manifest keeps coming. Ihave attained 356 degree Gnan but it hasnot come out. What is coming out, is lowerthan that. The day when the 356 degreeGnan comes, then there will be wonder ofthis time.

Questioner: To extract the 356 degreeGnan, will we need the qualified beings?

Dadashri: Yes, such qualified being isneeded. The moment such person comes, itwill come out very quickly. As a qualified

person comes, higher level Gnan will startcoming out. It is not under my control tomanifest. This is just a taped record. Qualifiedbeings will come and the ‘record’ will alsocome out.

The wonders of this time period

Questioner: Many times exact wordscome forth from you. Whatever is written inthe Gita, or in the Bhagwat, they come forthexactly.

Dadashri: Yes, they do come forthexactly.

Questioner: At that time, one may feelthat where did you read all that from? Ifsomeone were to say that Dada read that, Iwill not believe that.

Dadashri: No, no, it is not like that. Itis true. And this speech cannot be in what Ihave read. This speech is correct speech.

Questioner: No, it is not like that. Inyour background; during your days, there wasno such thing at all, there was no such scopeat all.

Dadashri: No, it happened withoutdoing anything. Hundreds of thousands ofbooks can be written from this speech.

Incarnation of the Self in relativeworldly interactions

This is a science. In science one cannotmake alterations or change anything. It isbased on principles which accomplish theultimate (siddhantik), the Self, and it is freefrom all contradictions. And never has anychange occurred in our principle. Gnan withultimate principles does not exist. The ultimateprinciple of the Vitarags (those free from

attachment and abhorrence) was with themonly. In the scriptures, the siddhant has notbeen completely written, because the principlecannot come into words. It is called siddhantbodha (sacred teaching with incontrovertibleprinciple), bodha (sacred teaching) that helpsachieve siddhant (incontrovertible principle).But that is not called a principle, and ours’ iscalled siddhant (ultimate incontrovertibleprinciple which brings the final result), whichis very clear. Principle will be gained forwhatever that is being asked, and ours ismathematical like one-plus-one is equal totwo, two-plus-two is equal to four,systematic, with no rashness, and iscontinuous. And there is neither dharma noradharma. It is applicable to both the worldly(relative, vyavahar) as well as the Self (real,nischaya). The only thing that it does notapply to is ordinary people at large, becausethere is a tremendous difference between theirlanguage and the language of the Gnani. TheGnani’s language is good and without anyimpediment. Only when the Gnani explainseverything methodically, does the puzzle oflife become solved.

When this Akram Vignan is revealedto the world, it would benefit peopletremendously, because never before has sucha science come forth. Nobody has previouslyever placed any kind of Gnan in the depths ofthe worldly interactions. Nobody has reallydealt with the worldly interactions (vyavahar)before. They have only talked about the Self.The Self (nischaya) has never entered intothe worldly interactions (vyavahar). Selfremained in the Self and worldly interactionsremained in worldly interactions only. Here,Akram Vignan has placed the Self (nischaya)into the very core of worldly interaction(vyavahar). A completely new scripture has

arisen and it is also scientific. It can never becontradicted anywhere. But now, how canthis Akram Vignan be revealed to this world?The world would be blessed if it wererevealed!

Questioner: That time will come too;right Dada?

Dadashri: Yes, it will!

What an amazing desire for salvation ofall!

It is ‘Our’ bhavna (desire) that “Maypeople of this world attain salvation.” Just as ithas happened for ‘us’, may these people alsoattain salvation. This world must attain salvation(kalyan), and it is not going to refrain fromhappening.

Dada's World - Blog UpdatesSurat Satsang-Gnanvidhi & Experience of mahatmas

By the divine grace we could put Dada stall at the Surat Railway Station (Place WhereDada got realization in 1958.) All Dada material is available there and mostly non mahatma whotravels thru train takes benefit of getting dada material from there. Mahatma in 2 batch gives sewaat the stall. They were sharing nice experiences…

Once a seeker was buying books from the stall and suddenly his train started. He in hurrytried to get on the moving train but slipped and fell below in the pit between train and platform.Whole train passed while he was still in pit. Stall mahatma started praying to Dada for his safetybut which seemed highly unlikely. Due to his karma and grace he came out of the pit with littleinjury and he was then sharing with stall mahatma that i was saved due to grace of Dada.

15 coolies came to take gnan. Many coolies start the day by coming to stall and praying todada. One mahatma was sharing that coolie on seeing people in white dress first inquire whetheryou are Dada mahatma and if answer is affirmative then refuses to take money.

A mahatma was sharing that he used to drink a lot before gnan. But after Gnanvidhi hisdrinking automatically stopped and looking at change in him his whole group of 500 (many heavydrinkers like him) has already taken gnan. Most of them are regularly asking for strength to comeout of their bad habit.

A mahatma was sharing that on his visit to Belgium (many diamond merchant in diamondcity) his purse with money inside got lost, he immediately could remember Dada aagna and withease had Daal-Bhat (in belgium!!) (Rice-Curry) in dinner and went to sound sleep. Even in hisbusiness in surat, he before gnan used to fight and beat and get his due back but after gnan henow tries casually and if money is not recovered then celebrates.

Pujyashree met saints in JunagadhSaints of different sects met Pujyashree. They shared that they are regularly watching tv

satsang of Pujya Niruma & Pujya Deepakbhai and are very impressed as the satsang is relatedto Self Realization. They also shared that your satsang explains spirituality very nicely but on topof that we feel that it is in charitra (experience) of You and Niruma both. One group of Saintseven wished to take Gnan in future.

Morbi PranpratisthaGrand celebration of Morbi PranPratistha was done in presence of thousands mahatma and

atmagnani Pujya Deepakbhai. 25 to 30 thousand mahatmas and seekers came even though celebrationwas only for 1 day morning to evening on 24th February, Sunday. 9 ft. Murti of Lord SimandharSwami was placed first time in any trimandir and all the mahatma were very happy seeing newperfectly proportioned (from outside as well inside) Temple. Most of them couldn’t notice differencein 12 ft or 9 ft Mandir.. Pujyashree Deepakbhai asked mahatma to do bhav to have Mandir likethis in every city where strong satsang activities are presently going on.

Temple was done at Jepur a small village near Morbi. The villagers there were totallyunaware about Dada until last year. They first heard about dada 10 months before when groundbreaking ceremony for this Mandir was done. From that day onwards they got so much attractedtoward Dada that many took Gnan on same day and they started offering their service for Temple.In just one year whole population of village took Gnan and got involved in sewa. During Pranpratistha,whole Jepur villagers gave very sincere non stop 24 hours sewa in food, security and parkingdepartments. 2 jain sadhviji also stayed for whole event and took the benefit of satsang, Gnanvidhi,Pranpratistha and personal guidance from Pujyashree.
