APTAR NEUCHÂTEL

Founded in 1991 in the heart of the Swiss watch and micro precision industry area, AptarNeuchâtel established the BOV technology worldwide using compressed air as a propellant. Aptar Neuchâtel is specialized in the production of dispensing systems combining bag on valve with innovative dispensing actuators integrating high precision swirl effects nozzles.

Its product range comprises Bag on Valves in various sizes as well as a wide range of actuators dedicated to the use of compressed air for personal care and pharma applications such as nasal spray, first aid and topic spray as well as gel and jet dispensing form.

Nasal Saline

Nasal sprays using isotonic or hypertonic saline solution (or sea water solution) help decrease nasal congestion, sinus pressure and breathing problems. Saline nasal sprays have become very common and are typically non-prescription remedies. A mist of saline solution is delivered to help moisturize dry or irritated nostrils. Cough & Cold

Cough & Cold covers a wide range of diseases and conditions. As the symptoms are very broad, a wide range of devices needs to be provided. Diseases ranging from bronchitis and pneumonia to common colds require flexible solutions when it comes to dosing a medication. For prophylaxis or symptom treatment, there is a broad spectrum of remedies like anti-viral nasal sprays, throat sprays, mucolytic and cough relieving liquids or dermal cold ointments. Aptar Pharma can provide systems to administer such remedies in a user-friendly way.

Dermal Drug Delivery

The Dermal Drug Delivery application field covers a wide range of products, administered on or through the skin in cream, gel, foam or liquid form. These products aim to either reach the skin surface for local action (topical treatment) or to enable the active substance to be taken up by the skin and to reach other areas of the organism (transdermal treatment).

Aptar Pharma offers a complete range of dispensing solutions supporting the demands of the industry and to contribute to the success of skin treatments. The increasing concern about preservatives triggered development of systems for unpreserved formulations, such as airless dispensing systems or pumps with microbiological filtration systems. Analgesics

Analgesics are classified as non-opioid/non steroid anti inflammatory drugs (NSAID) for the treatment of pain, inflammations and aches. These substances, widely available as over the counter medications, are mostly administered via the skin or orally. Aptar Pharma provides a wide range of dispensing systems for proper administration of such remedies. Analgesics do not include opioid pain medications.

Wound Treatments

Aptar Pharma classifies a wound as a type of injury in which skin is torn, cut or punctured (open wound) or where blunt force trauma causes a contusion, more commonly known as bruises, damaging a tissue under the skin. The range of systems AptarPharma can provide contains devices for remedies such as wound wash (sterile saline), disinfectant or healing substances. Formulations can be of various consistencies and viscosities. Our dispensing technologies can support administration of oxygen sensitive substances in airless packaging systems. Unpreserved formulations can be equipped with our preservative free delivery systems.

Ear Care

The outer ear ends at the most superficial layer of the tympanic membrane. Commonly known as “earache”, inflammations of the outer ear, the ear canal and the middle ear can be caused by both mechanical and microbial exposition. Aptar Pharmaprovides systems to apply drugs treating infections, pain or lack or overproduction of ear wax.

The eye, including its structure and mechanism, has fascinated scientists and the public in general since ancient times.
