The saying, If it is for me,

then it is for me, is a true statementwhen it comes to Tana. In 1987, onDecember 7, in Grady Hospital YvetteRichardson and Edward Reeves wel-cme her rs ch, a hasmebaby boy into the world who theynamed David Smith.

As a child, life for Tana growing upin the streets of Atlanta werent al-

ways easy as he found himself movingfrom one location to another, fromone school to another. Though beingthe smart, self-motivated individualthat he is Tana was determined to getit by any means necessary. Even if itmeant hustling.

However, the hustling lifestylewouldnt last forever, soon Tana real-ized that life in the streets and jailwasnt for him so he began his careerin music as a way out of the streets.He had always knew that he had thetalent to make it in the industry andonce he stumbled across the rightpeople to take his career to the netlevel it was history from there.

In 2006, at the age of 18, Tana goths rs ea wh E1 Recrs, fr-merly known as Koch Records and hedropped his smash single Rock On

(Do The Rockman). The single be-came a hit as soon as it was releasedto the streets.

Not intimidated by pursuing allthat life has to offer, in 2009 Tana leftE1 Records and went on to found hisown independent label Str8 Cash, NoChange Muzik, to which he has signedan army of young producers fromAtlanta to Chicago to Virginia.
