Sunshine Committee and Comfort Quilts Hello Everyone,

If you know of any of our friends in Guild that are sick, having surgery, had a death in the family or just feeling down and need a few words of encouragement, please contact me, Becky Harvey. I will send them a special card from all of us at Sinnissippi Quilt Guild. My phone number is 815-742-7013 and my email is [email protected]

Comfort quilts and the Sunshine Committee sort of go together. In order for us to send a card to any of our fellow quilters, we need to know about it. Anyone who may be sick, having surgery, had a death in the family, or just needs a lift, we would like to remember you. Contact Becky Harvey 815-742-7013.

The purpose of a comfort quilt is to show the care and concern of our fellow quilting sisters going through a traumatic time in their life. The quidelines to receive a comfort quilt is as follows: personal health issues (cancer, transplant, major surgery), death of immediate family(parent, spouse, child), and life threatening situation(accident with injuries). A member may receive only one comfort quilt from the guild, even if they have different issues as stated above.

Please contact Vicki Tallacksen 815-262-2293 if someone needs a comfort quilt.
