Hotel InformationThe Grand Hyatt San Antonio is located in a premiere setting adjacent to the Convention Center, on the Riverwalk and near Hemisfair Park.

TIA has contracted for a block of rooms at the hotel at a very special rate of $229 for single occupancy, $254 for double occupancy, $279 triple occupancy, or $304 quadruple occupancy.

These rooms are available at this rate until March 16, 2016. At that time the room block will be released to general sales. You may not be able to secure a room after that date and the rates may be higher.

Travel Information San Antonio is serviced by a large number of airlines. Because of the widely available internet airline rates, TIA is not offering special airfare information. However, it is highly recommended that attendees book airline tickets well in advance as ticket prices will go up.

Taxi fares from the San Antonio International Airport to downtown San Antonio range from $25-$29 one way.

THE TRANSPORTATION INTERMEDIARIES ASSOCIATION (TIA) is the leading education and policy organization for North American third-party logistics professionals. TIA is the only organization representing 3PLs doing business in both domestic and international commerce.

With over 1,500 members, TIA is the voice of 3PLs to shippers, carriers, government officials, and international organizations. As a condition of membership, all TIA members are

required to sign and adhere to the TIA Code of Ethics. The members of TIA include property brokers, domestic freight forwarders, international forwarders and NVOCCs, air freight forwarders, logistics management companies, and intermodal marketing companies.

TIA is the U.S. member of FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarder Associations) representing more than 40,000 3PLs around the world.
