Human Resources News
This year's medical, dental and FSA Open Enrollment is April 25 - May 13
Employees who want to participate in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) program for FY2017 must enroll/re-enroll during Open Enrollment. Employees do not need to reenroll for medical or dental coverage. However, Open Enrollment is the only time to change from one medical plan to another, add previously declined dependent dental coverage or change medical/dental premium withholding from pre-tax to post-tax (or vice versa).
Click here to begin. If you forgot your Online Logon password, email HR at [email protected] for help.
For more information about this year’s open enrollment, read the OGI Letter explaining employee options for the upcoming Open Enrollment period. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of Group Insurance at 208-332-1860 or [email protected]. For the April Office of Group Insurance (OGI) Newsletter: click here

Twin Falls Judges Interact with Community As reported by Shelli Tubbs, Trial Court Administrator, Fifth Judicial District
Administrative District Judge Bevan (pictured below) addressed four large groups of second graders from Perrine Elementary in Twin Falls on April 21 and 22. The event was the “Heroes and Public Service” Field Trip Day for the students. We were thrilled that they chose judges among their heroes. In addition, District Judge Randy Stoker addressed the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce’s Adult Magic Valley Leadership Group on April 21. Both judges indicated that the groups asked them some very interesting questions, and that they enjoyed their time presenting.

Bannock County Hosts
ISTARS Balancing Training
As reported by Suzanne Johnson, Trial Court
Administrator, Sixth Judicial District
Bannock County hosted a training for ISTARS balancing for the Sixth and Seventh
Judicial Districts because there are many brand new elected clerks, deputy auditors and deputy clerks. In attendance were the elected clerks from Bannock, Caribou, Franklin, Butte Counties along with deputy clerks from the
two districts.
We actually did a daily balancing from the prior day for Bannock County using ISTARS. There was a great discussion about what physical files are necessary, how to file citations, what to keep for a year so that the counties can consider current practices for improvement! A good time was had by all!
