I am Wilmer and I have a trip for this weekend. Amazing views beautiful valleys, flowers, including some medicinal plants and a waterfall.

15 minutes by car from COTACACHI there is PIAVA community. We will walk for about 45 minutes before reaching the end where there is a very nice waterfall waiting for you.

The price is $20 per person, including transportation and a snack.

If you have a walking stick please bring it with you. Hat, comfortable shoes, towel and water.

GOURMET GROUP (OR NOT SO GOURMET)

I belonged to a couple’s gourmet group in the states and have been wanting to start a group here. When my husband passed away, I almost gave up on the idea. But there are many singles here who might be interested. So couples,

singles are fine with me. What I have in mind is a once a month get-together with 8 people per group. It’s a great way to get to know one another better, and every year, we switch the groups around so we are always meeting new people.
