The Month of April has super good bounties to count and communicate

the readers of IMPact.

➢ 19th Foundation Day of Vikash: Innovative Celebrations

The journey of Vikash group as a path breaker and trend setter in the field of Education &

healthcare saw glorious moments on the 19th Foundation Day. Adhering to the Social Distancing

and Lockdown norms the whole event went on WEBINAR connecting all the staff and students

from all campuses and also streamed live on Facebook for parent’s fraternity. Esteemed

Chairman Sri D Murali Krishna, M.D. Sri G Bhaskar Rao, Executive Directors Sri D Nageswar Rao

and Sri V. Srinivas, Director Administration Sri Dasari Vivek Kumar , Director Academics Sri G

Ram Krishna addressed the webinar and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the stakeholders,

staff, students and well wishers.

➢ Mega Blood Donation Camp :

49th Birthday of Founder Chairman Sri D Murali Krishna ji was celebrated by donation of 49 units

of Blood by the Doctors, staff and students of Vikash group and Multi Specialty Hospitals.65

units were donated within a week by inmates of VGI/VMSH.

➢ Consistent Online Classes:

The Faculty Members of VSBM are consistently taking online Classes via ZOOM and CISCO

WebEx. As per the scheduled academic plan major portion of the syllabus of all years of BBA is

over except one or two papers. Except 1st year BCA the syllabus of all years BCA is completed &

Doubt Clearing Sessions are going on for both the streams.

➢ Webinar by Expert: IOT Seminar for BCA Students

An Online talk was delivered by Dr. Sushanta Ku Sahu on ‘Internet of Things for use in

Agriculture’. A very interesting session witnessed by all BCA students. Esteemed Executive

Director of Vikash Group Sri D Nageswar Rao sir motivated all by joining the event live in the

presence of all Teachers and Revered Principal Dr K Pradhan Sir.

➢ A Series of Business Webinars and Technical Webinars :

The month of April has been very rich in terms of acquiring Knowledge for all as the BBA

students participated in Business Trainings by Trainers of National/International repute & BCA

students participated in International Technical Webinars as planned by Faculties on regular

basis.

➢ Students Joined WIPRO online Induction Programs:

Jajati Dash & Tikeswari Behera of BCA final year have joined online Induction Program by

WIPRO. They were Selected in this session and due to lockdown WIPRO has started doing online

orientation for the new recruits.

AMBARISH DASH, BCA (2014-17)

Team IMPact proudly presents this special Column where the hearts of Alumni of VSBM whistle out their emotions and throws back a glance with their VSBM Experience at Vikash. This month

BCA Alumni Master AMBARISH DASH is opening up his heart for VSBM. He is Assistant Manager, Axis Bank, Bargarh branch.

It makes me nostalgic to recall the days I spent at VSBM, Vikash. I

never thought of becoming a Banker, but it was Vikash, where I

received the first lesson to dream with open eyes and flap the wings

to fly higher than others; I learnt to aspire, to nurture my ambition

and chase my dreams till I reach the desired destination. Initially, BCA

was a casual choice, but later I realised it was the wisest decision I

ever made. The three years at Vikash, under the constant guidance of

the dedicated faculty members brought a drastic change in my life

and perception towards my career. This was the phase when I

discovered my true self. The friendly atmosphere and activity-based

learning environment also taught me the best lessons of life that I

value the most.

Founder D Murali Krishna sir will always remain my lifetime

inspiration and thankful to all management members for such a

platform. The inspiration to go for MBA came from Mr. R S V Krishna

and Dr. Kshirod Pradhan, the two personalities whom I admire the

most. I must thank Deepak sir for being my guardian throughout the

journey from a student to a professional. Three years of BCA taught

me to minimize the gap between theoretical knowledge and its

practical implementation. Today, it is a proud moment for me to

extend my sincere gratitude to the entire VSBM family for making me

what I am today.
