John & June received many certifi- cates of con- gratulations from govern- ment officials, the Queen, and our own Innisfil Mayor, Gord Wauchope, who came and per- sonally presented the certificate and gave words of congrats on behalf of the Town of Innisfil. Pastor Courtney also presented a certificate of congratulations from the Innisfil Community Church family. God Bless You Pastor June & John - may you enjoy many more years of health and happiness! Everyone had a great time, both at the conference and inter-acting with one another. The ladies also met on Tuesday, April 21, for a time of sharing together...the theme being “Women Tell All!”

Men’s Ministries The Mighty Men breakfast meetings are going strong, held on the last Saturday of every month. As this letter is being written, they are preparing for another event on April 25, with special guest, Cory Kostyra, sharing the theme “The Law of Presence”. Approximately 50 men have been attending these meetings.

Benevolence Innisfil Food Bank Over the Easter weekend we received 2 large bins of food from Sobeys Alcona, donated by their customers during the Easter drive. As well, the clients from the Alcona Animal Hospi-tal and Stroud Seniors donate food on a regu-lar basis. The demand for assistance is ongo-ing and, so far, we have been able to accom-modate the requests that come in. We are always grateful to those in our community who support The Innisfil Food Bank. The Clothing Depot This month we prepared the store for the spring/summer clothing, beginning with the April 23rd shopping night. We were a little low in spring/summer clothing as most people have been clearing out their “winter” closets; however, we still distributed 80 bags. We are particularly in need of kids gently used cloth-ing and we’re confident we will receive a great-er supply within the next several months.

Serving Our Community In addition to the regular programs of ICC, our church facility has been made available for the following functions/meetings during the month of April: - 1st Alcona Brownies - Love & Service Group - Tim Horton’s - 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration - Elizabeth Fry Association - Toastmasters - Child Dedication Celebration Event
