“MOBILE” PLATFORMS The holy trinity of online learning — content/lecture,

discussion, assessment — doesn’t translate well to smartphones.

• Navigating content (smartphone browsers have smaller screens & buttons, longer load times, etc.)

• Discussion (prove your point in ~140 characters or less)

• Time (smartphone users’ sessions are currently 3x longer when they’re using apps vs. browsing websites)
