    Approaching God as your Father!

In times past God revealed Himself, as a promise andcovenant keeping God, and He called Himself, the God of

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because God had made acovenant promise, which is like a contract agreement withAbraham, and his children, and his childrens, children. Thisis the name He used so we would remember Him, and knowHim by, and this covenant was to represent and establishthe relationship of how God was going to lovingly andgraciously bless and treat Abraham, and Abrahams lineage.

The purpose of the covenant; was that God had chosenAbrahams lineage to bring in the birth of Jesus, so that Jesus

would fulfill the finished work of the cross for the sins ofhumanity to be forgiven, and so the promise to Abrahamwould be fulfilled, completed, and established forever.

Four hundred and thirty years later, after God had made thepromises to Abraham, God gave Moses the TenCommandments to show the children of Israel, which were

Abrahams grandchildren, that they needed grace, becausethey were not able to live up to the perfect standards of

Gods law, in which the children of Israel, persisted in therepride and said they were able to keep the law, of the Tencommandments.

But the law was a curse to us, because if we broke just onelaw, we were guilty of breaking all ten, and God neverintended for us to live under the law and the curse of thelaw, but under grace, and His righteousness, and not ourown righteousness by trying to keep the law, because thelaw was designed to lead us to Jesus our redeemer so thatthe promise given to Abraham might be fulfilled.

The bible says that Christ has redeemed us from the curse ofthe law, by being cursed in our place: for it is written,Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: That the blessingof Abraham might come on all the nations through Christ:

Even King David describes this blessing of Abraham of theman, unto God counts him as a righteous man, without hisown human efforts of trying to keep the law, saying, Blessedare they whose sins are forgiven, and whose sins are paid

for. Blessed is the man to whom God will count his sinsagainst him no more!

Jesus came to introduce us to the Father!

But when the fullness of time had come 4000 years afterAdam, and 2000 years after Abraham, God sent forth HisSon, born of a woman, and born under the law, to redeem

them that were under the law, that we might receive son-ship. And because we are sons, God has sent forth the Spiritof His Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father. So now, youare no longer a slave under the law, but a son, and adaughter; and if you are a son, and a daughter, then you arean heir of God through Christ. Galatians 4: 4-7So when you approach God to pray to Him, dont approachHim or see Him as God, but come to Him and approach Him

as your Daddy, Abba Father!Dont go by what you feel; go by what the word says aboutyou, and your heavenly Father. Amen!

You are not a slave anymore under the law of the oldcovenant, you are now His children of the covenant of

Abraham, of which Jesus accomplished and made it aneverlasting new covenant of grace through the shedding ofHis blood and making it a blood covenant that can never bebroken by anyone because God made it between Him and

Jesus, and Abraham and us are the ones He made it forbecause we are His offspring!

Remember, that God the Father forsook Jesus His one andonly beloved Son as a sinner on the cross in our place, and

judged Him for our sins so that you and I would never be

alienated or forsaken as sons and a daughters of God, andJesus also said I will not leave you as Orphans, nor leave youthinking that you are Orphans, and have been left alonewithout a Father.

If you want to know what your heavenly Father is like, listento what Jesus said to Philip. Philip asked Jesus to show himthe Father.Lord show us the Father and we will be satisfied. Then Jesus said to Philip, Have I been with you all this time, and you still dont know me, or recognize me? He that hasseen me has seen the Father; so how is it that you can saythen, Show us the Father!

On resurrection day on a Sunday morning, Jesus appeared toMary Magdalene to tell her the most important message inthe world.

Jesus said to Mary, Touch me not; for I Am not yet ascendedto my Father: but go to my brothers, and say to them, Iascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God,and your God! Amen!
